It was so refreshing to meet Mark after having met up with a few celebrants before hand. His happy, lighthearted attitude was what we were looking for. He made me feel at ease and confident about the process of the ceremony as I was a little worried about the procedure, he made it uncomplicated and that took a whole lot of weight off my shoulders. He was a gem on the day, in fact he was amazing, I was running late due to car complications and the guests were getting fidgety in the light drizzle on the beach. He kept it all together and really helped out. His ceremony was exactly what we had envisaged and he created such a feel of warmth and love.

I fell on love with the third gown I tried on in my first ever wedding dress shopping day at J & Gs, the lady who helped me was lovely. Overall I felt Like I was being 'in the way' throughout the ordering process, but I guess they get a lot of Bridezillas to contend with. I would of liked better customer service, as I too work in retail and also have to serve brides, especially when handing over hard saved money.

We feel so fortunate that we chose Tamika to photograph our day. She is clearly a talented well-traveled photographer/ artist and her ability to capture the real emotions, real feelings is like nothing else. You must at least jump onto her website to see her portfolio! We all met before the day and chatted about how the place we were to be married at was special to my Husband & I she managed to reflect this 100% in the photos. Tamika is professional and punctual. It was lovely to have her warm and calm personality be part of our day, we had a lot of fun with the shoot. She is a natural light photographer so her work was swift and unobtrusive. I have been getting asked a lot from brides to be for her details and I highly recommend her.

Whalers Inn was a perfect venue for us as we married on the beach at Horseshoe Bay Pt Elliot. Our guests were treated to an amazing view over Encounter Bay while they had canapes and cocktails on the balcony at sunset whilst waiting for us to arrive. We had the choice of a few different rooms and chose one that suited our needs. The staff were absolutely wonderful, the food was amazing, no one went home hungry that night! Whalers Inn gives you the freedom to create your own look of the room or choose your own venue stylists or they have a wonderful recommended event coordinators available. At no point during the night did I feel we were being 'packed' up as I have felt at many other weddings, we partied on until about 1am. The packages available are very flexible including the drinks package. There is great accommodation just behind Whalers, including many apartment style suits which is great for friends / couples to share. We had quotes from different venues including in Adelaide and Whalers was the BEST value by far!
