The Bower Estate is 120 acres of unparalleled beauty and environmental heritage, surrounded by some of Queensland’s most stunning National Parks.

You are immersing in our family’s passion for preserving world heritage rainforest and wildlife corridors, sharing delicious food and supporting local growers and producers, including Bower’s own honey!

An event at The Bower is like no other. Every view, photo location, and secret spot has been carefully and lovingly crafted over decades of work on this estate.

The Bower Estate has an unlimited supply of beautiful locations for your ceremony.

Some of our favourite spots include:

*Hillview
Located between the Ridge, Cottage and car access, this is a stunning location for your ceremony. As your guests will look towards the west, the dramatic mountains of Lamington National Park frame your altar.

*The Fig Tree
Located on The Ridge and immediately next to the reception space, this is a fantastic spot for an intimate rainforest feeling with epic Springbrook views. A perfect location for fire pits and evening ceremonies.

*The Paddock
Perfect for a large open feeling or dramatic entrances. The Paddock is easily accessible by vehicle and makes the most of the sweeping lawns of the Estate. Follow your vows with garden games and a drink!

All our locations have good lighting for photography and stunning backdrops.

Continue the party in our incredible clear marquee to make the most of our lush surrounds, no matter the time of day. Adorned with a roof of fairy lights, the marquee is a magical space to enjoy.

Party under the stars with full private use of our reception area. The Fig Tree area offers a perfect relaxed area to enjoy post ceremony drinks and canapes whilst enjoying views of sunset lighting up the cliffs of Springbrook National Park.

Does Bower allow pets?

Yes, by application, your fur baby can participate in your ceremony and stay at the Cottage!

Is there a wet weather option for the ceremony?

Yes, currently under construction is a deck expansion at the Cottage, to accommodate the wedding party for the ceremony, and for cocktail hour. With a spectacular view, gabled arbour and wedding entrance stairs, it's the perfect back up (or first choice!)

Some places are simply beautiful, but Bower Estate is something far beyond that. It became the backdrop to one of the most meaningful days of our lives, and we will cherish it forever. I first dreamed of getting married at Bower Estate when I was 14 years old. Even back then, there was something so captivating about it. After finally saying "I do" there, I can honestly say it surpassed every hope I had held onto for all those years. Walking through the estate on our wedding day felt surreal. Every space was stunning, every view felt intentional, and there was such a peaceful, romantic atmosphere that made the entire day feel incredibly special. It truly felt like stepping into a dream. A huge part of that experience was Emma. Throughout our planning journey, she was an absolute joy to work with. She was thoughtful, attentive, and so generous with her time, making sure we felt confident and supported every step of the way. Her communication was exceptional, and no question or request was ever too much. You can tell how much she genuinely cares about every couple who walks through the estate. What impressed us most was the way everything came together so effortlessly. Every detail had been so beautifully prepared, allowing us to simply enjoy every moment with the people we love. There is such excellence behind the scenes at Bower Estate, and it shows in every part of the experience. A huge thank you to the entire Bower Estate team, for helping bring a lifelong dream to life. We left with memories that will stay with us forever, and we couldn't imagine a more perfect place to begin our marriage. Bower Estate will always hold a piece of our hearts.

Communication from the day we booked right through to our wedding day was incredible from Amanda, Nikki and Emma from the Bower Team. Thank you for making it easy to secure our day with you and for keeping the Bower Estate looking pristine. Kaspa and the team were lovely and stopped into the cottage to make sure that there was nothing we needed done ahead of our walk down the aisle. The team at The Bower Estate were wonderful & so accomodating!! We had an outdoor reception in long dining tables with banquet style snot was classy but also family dinner vibes. Set upon the picturesque hills & as the sun came down we dined under the stars. It was magical & I highly recommend!

Our experience with The Bower Estate overall, was absolutely beautiful. The venue itself is truly breathtaking, with stunning views and a magical atmosphere that made our day feel incredibly special. The team were lovely to work with — friendly and responsive throughout the planning process. It made everything feel a lot smoother which was a big relief during such a stressful time. We had access to the estate from midday the day prior which was super helpful for the setup and saved us a lot of stress. There were just a couple aspects of the venue that we found a little surprising. If things like drinking water, bins, sound system and cool room were supplied by the venue and didn’t need to be arranged separately, our experience would have truly been a 10/10. Small things but still important. We also stayed in the on-site cottage, which was charming and convenient. However, it didn’t quite feel set up with a bridal party in mind — with no full-length mirror, not enough firewood or enough blankets for a cold winter night (and there were no batteries for the aircon remote). Despite those minor oversights, the day was beautiful, and we’re so grateful to have had such an unforgettable wedding in such a spectacular setting!
