March 2024

Ahhh, it was all perfect! The evening went exactly as planned. The food was as wonderful on the evening as it was on the taste test. Many, many compliments from guests on the food, location and ambience. The museum was a superb venue for our Latino-Australian-wedding with ceremony by the lake and dance party inside. Natalie Rawsthorne was brilliant to deal with from the first phone call to delivery on the night. Selfie of us with Nat included. Muchas gracias Natalie, muchas gracias Museo Nacional. Fue noche increible!

My Husband and I had our Wedding reception here and i have nothing but good things to say, from the venue set up to the staff on the night but most importantly to Natalie and Ben who made sure they went above and beyond to make sure our special day was extra special. I wanted to decorate the venue my way and Natalie made sure that what i had dreamt of came to fruition, The venue and reception was more than i could have imagined and i would recommend this venue and team to my friends and family in a heart beat.

No Wedding Party Table at Reception

I am looking at venues for our reception and along with that table set ups. We prefer long tables. I have always loved the idea of not having a wedding party table and sitting amongst our guests. At this stage we are not having a formal wedding party just my nieces and nephews as flower girls and ring bearers. Does anyone have any examples of how couples have done this? Or advice for and against doing this?

National Museum Of Australia

Such a beautiful idea. We've had couples do this, they simply placed themselves in the middle rows of their long tables so they were amongst their guests. It worked really well, the couple were very happy on the day.
