Below our Dining and Bar area, the Birdcage Cellar with its own private bar offers the perfect place for your special day or night. Exuding the charm and character of an era long past, the space has played host to a number of very successful wedding receptions.

Up to 50 people can be seated or 80 standing at your special event in this private space.

They created a top cake with a tower of cupcakes underneath. I provided inspirational images of what I wanted and she did an amazing job. She all took care of all guest dietary requirements.

Food - perfect. Service - perfect. Ambience - amazing. Darryl and his staff - awesome. We could not recommend BirdCage and Darryl for your wedding highly enough, it was exactly what we wanted and all our family and friends are still talking about how good it was! We loved it.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Bird Cage Woolloongabba on the 24th of May 2014. Every single part of the evening there was exceptional. The food was spectacular and because it came out in Platters there was a good variety of food on offer which catered for some fussier eaters! Darryl looked after us brilliantly from the very start and I couldn't recommend this venue more!
