What makes the process different?
One of the biggest questions couples have is simply: how do I get my flowers there while they’re still fresh?
Bloomy Days created its own custom flower transport box, with insulated walls, a water source and bouquet holder to help your flowers arrive in the best possible condition. You can purchase the box on its own or with a prepaid shipping label, making Australia-wide preservation simple.

I always found the fading of my favourite flowers a little sad, so in 2020, when I had the chance to explore a new creative outlet, I started working with dried flowers, and that's how Bloomy Days came to life. Over the years, our team and business grew, and our passion for preserving flowers deepened. The ability to transform fresh blooms into lasting works of art has brought a whole new sense of joy and fulfilment into our lives.

Yes we do, we have a $150 minimum spend
Yes. Artificial and silk flowers can be used for resin preservation and 3D framing.
They aren’t suitable for pressed flower frames, but if your bouquet includes artificial flowers, we can work with you to replace those particular stems with fresh flowers locally.
Some colour change is completely normal when fresh flowers are dried and preserved, and the result can vary depending on the flower variety, original colour, freshness and condition.
For example, red roses can deepen to burgundy, white flowers may become cream or off-white, tropical flowers can brown, and white delphiniums can dry blue.
We use high-quality preservation gel and specialised techniques to retain as much of your flowers’ original shape and vibrancy as possible. Colour correction is also available for flowers that may benefit from it.
Yes. Colour correction is an option in flower preservation and can help restore or enhance colour where flowers have naturally changed during the drying and preservation process.
It can be particularly helpful for pressed flowers and tropical bouquets, which can be more prone to visible colour changes. Colour correction can also help minimise blemishes and imperfections while keeping the finished flowers looking natural.
If your flowers are likely to benefit from colour correction, it can be added to your preservation order.
Flower preservation takes time because your flowers need to be carefully dried and preserved before your finished piece can be created.
Current turnaround times are approximately 6 to 8 months for resin preservation and 3 to 6 months for framed flowers.
No. A $150 deposit is required to secure your wedding date for preservation.
Once your flowers arrive, you’ll be invoiced for your selected pieces, or the remaining balance can be paid when you collect your finished items. Payment plans are also available on request.
It’s best to book before your wedding, particularly as availability can fill quickly.
We’ll need your wedding date to check availability and a $150 deposit to secure your place. You can also let us know whether you’ll be posting your flowers or dropping them off.
If you already know what you’d like your flowers turned into, great. If not, we can help you decide which preservation option will best suit your bouquet.
You can safely send fresh wedding flowers for preservation from anywhere in Australia, but it’s important that they stay hydrated, upright and protected while travelling.
To make this easier, we’ve designed and manufactured our own purpose-built flower transport box specifically for wedding bouquets. It has thickened, insulated walls, a built-in water source and a bouquet holder to help keep your flowers hydrated, secure and in the best possible condition while they travel.
You can order the transport box on its own or with a prepaid shipping label, taking the guesswork out of packing and posting fresh flowers after your wedding.
If you’re local to Ballarat, you can also drop your flowers directly to our studio at 23 Owen Court, Smythes Creek VIC 3351.
