Hi, I’m Emma – and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m the founder and lead planner at Bay Window Events — a lover of thoughtful details, natural textures, golden light, and weddings that feel like home. Based in Newcastle, I live with my husband, two little ones, and our beagle Elvis. Bay Window Events was born to help couples feel calm, confident, and creatively supported while planning one of life’s most meaningful days.

Bay Window Events and Leaves & Fishes have partnered to offer a truly unique experience in the Hunter Valley. Nestled among tropical gardens and native bushland, this exclusive-use venue offers multiple ceremony and reception spaces, luxurious overwater accommodation, and full access to the estate for the entire weekend.

Every bespoke package includes:

End-to-end planning, styling and coordination (usually $7,500, now $5,000 exclusively for this offer)
Exclusive use of the venue for two nights (with accommodation for 12 guests)
Creative direction and personalised vendor curation
Day-before access for bump-in and day-after access for pack down
Full on-the-day presence with an extended team if required

Whether you're dreaming of a rainforest cocktail hour or dinner at the overwater restaurant, your wedding will be completely custom to your vision, vibe, and values.

Minimum total investment: from $15,450 for a midweek, off-season wedding (inclusive of exclusive venue use, accommodation and planning services).

Having Emma by my side for my wedding planning quite literally took all the stress out of the process and turned it into something I could actually enjoy. She made planning fun, and on the day itself, she was absolutely spectacular. Emma was always there, quietly making sure everything was running smoothly so I could truly be present and soak it all in. From thoughtful little things like moving the hair straightener from the ceremony to the reception venue when she noticed one of my bridesmaids’ hair was getting frizzy, to making sure everyone had a fresh glass of champagne before their speeches, to somehow sourcing the most beautiful umbrellas last minute when we realised it was going to rain on my wedding day, she just thought of everything. Beyond all that, Emma is sunshine personified. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful person to help me through this journey. Everyone who spoke to her on the day said how lovely and helpful she was. I feel so lucky to have had her with me, having Emma felt like having one of your best girlfriends running the show. I truly cannot recommend her highly enough.

Emma is priceless. As a friend we were incredibly lucky to have Emma help us in the planning of our wedding (the foundations package) We had a bit of a DIY wedding with the support and work of our family and friends and so having someone with knowledge and vision to bounce things off and run through details with was so essential. From setting aside a space for our breast feeding guests (this went down incredibly well and meant some very close friends were able to be present for longer) To changing our marquee and heating hire last minute based on weather. Emma was a guest at our wedding and as such we had a different designated on the day coordinator, and yet I still witnessed Em running around helping out, keeping guests comfortable and the day unfolding smoothly. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone. She is the best listener, she gets stuff done insanely effectively and thinks of things that never cross your mind. We had the most wonderful day on our wedding which we largely attribute to our guests being so comfortable, happy and raising the vibes even higher for us. Thanks, Emma for helping us pull off the most epic celebration.
