Your wedding will be the most expensive eight hours of your life. Everything comes at a price tag and as soon as you mention the magic word ‘wedding’ the cost may skyrocket. Having a wedding planner will edcuate you on what things cost and ensure you get value for money. If your budget permits, hire a wedding planner and wedding coordinator or delegate tasks to family members and friends you trust. A wedding planner helps you navigate this and on the wedding day the plan to make it all happen is critical. Our coordination package is very popular for this reason. Mum will want to be getting makeup and pics done - not putting out name tags or checking on the cake delivery. Its so important to plan to succeed not hope it will work out as you only get married once!
Often DIY-ing will cost just as much or even more than it would getting a professional to do the job. Plus you will be time poor and DIY costs time. All factors you need to consider when trolling your Pinterest boards. We know this and so often see the couple hate the wedding process because they have bitten off more than they can chew - you dont know weddings and thats okay - enlist someone who does like LUKdesign.
Great, fantastic, spectacular… please stop asking me! You will get sick of people asking how it’s all going, whether you’re stressed or whether you’ve done this or that. We are here to anwer them all - 2 or 3 times if we have too. Its the biggest emotional spend of money you will make as a first time being a wedding so no questoin is silly or not important - ask away!!
The assumption that the groom just goes along with what they’re told to go along with will not always be the case. Your groom might have the strongest opinions about the smallest of details. Best to try and find a happy medium. You never know, he might have a trick or two up his sleeve and make your wedding that little bit more fabulous! all of our packages assist with your groom being made to fill part of the whole wedding process

As a wedding planner we organise, execute and schedule all 40 elements that make up a wedding you desire. We tailor the aspects the couple want and remove the parts not desired. Given we do weddings weekly we have a pool of great suppliers to assit in designing, building and on the day delivering what is required. Given every couple has a unique vision and look for their special day we issue 2 invoices to our couples. 1 is our services invoice aligned to the work we do on your wedding being styling, coordination, production or planning ( you can see what these are on our website). The 2nd invoice is the industry prices for the elements we will hire and build for your special day. Suppliers can ivoice you directly but you will pay full RRP which idealy we would invest elsewhere in your wedding to make the overall budget work best.

How do I create a timeline for the wedding day?
I don't know how long everything is going to take so how do I know how to plan out my day? I'm having a winter wedding so I want to do most of the photos before the ceremony. I want to get married during the "golden light" hours so at about 5PM so the reception can follow immediately after.
