Where do I even begin?! ❤️ After nearly 40 years and 5 kids together, my partner demanded we get married! He asked me 5 times over the years but it never progressed any further than a new ring each time. 🥴 So this time, I reached out to Luke, and I will be forever thankful that I did!! When I first met with our wedding planner, my brief was very basic; “I want a pretty tent, great food, and most importantly, I want everyone to feel so welcome, comfortable and relaxed.” That was pretty much it! 😂 Well, somehow Luke took those few words and turned them into the most beautiful, dreamy wedding day I could ever have imagined. We had a marquee wedding on our property and it was truly amazing, all because of Luke. This man knows weddings!!! His vision, creativity and attention to detail were just incredible. He has the most wonderfully calm personality, and somehow manages to make everything feel completely effortless, while quietly making a million things happen behind the scenes. I would love to say I played a big part in creating our beautiful day, but honestly, I really didn’t! Luke set aside 6 hours to go through styling for the arbour and the marquee etc and we were done in 20mins. 😂 He organised absolutely EVERYTHING, somehow knew exactly what I wanted even when I didn’t know myself, and very patiently kept me on track when important decisions needed making (because apparently you can’t just leave everything until the last minute! 🤣). The entire day was everything I had hoped for and so much more. It was beautiful without being over the top, relaxed without missing a single detail, and had this gorgeous, welcoming atmosphere that was exactly what I wanted our wedding to feel like. I was so incredibly relaxed throughout the whole process and on the day itself. I’m sure there was plenty happening behind the scenes, but I certainly never had to worry about any of it!
