I’m Geoffrey Liau, an international multi award winning wedding and portrait photographer based in Perth, Western Australia. I’m married, have a lovely wife and two beautiful children. I’ve always liked a good wedding but never thought I’ll ended up as a wedding photographer. I’ve actually started shooting weddings only after my own wedding which gave me the confidence on what a wedding photographer needs to focus on and since then I fell in love with it and never looked back :)

Geoffrey was an amazing photographer on our wedding day. He was very accommodating with all of our requests, and his insights were invaluable in getting the perfect shots. His candid photos were our favourite, however - Geoffrey managed to capture so many fleeting moments and expressions, and we hardly noticed him as he moved around. Geoffrey was also very friendly with all of our guests. We had multiple people mention to us afterward that he was a lovely person to talk to. We will be forever grateful to Geoffrey for capturing the magic of our wedding day, and we highly recommend him to anyone.

Will cold weather effect my wedding photos?

my date is set for the middle of winter. i'm not talking about rain or wet weather here, i'm talking about bitterly cold weather! will it effect my photos if we pose outdoors? like will my skin be all goosebumpy and ruin the photos, and does a cold expression come across on wedding photography??

Hi Alexina, we have covered weddings in winter and even when it was hailing but that didn't stop us from creating beautiful images for our couples. Goosebumps won't be seen unless they are close-ups and a good photographer will know which angle to capture and getting the best emotions out of the subject =)
