Starting the dancing at a wedding is our specialty! We have an extensive set list of songs to suit any audience, and choosing the best songs for that moment to get the party started is our number one priority!

a top dj will not need the bridal waltz to make the dancefloor happen, he would perhaps say "ladies and gentleman, the night is young and im here to help you have a great time, so lets get the dancefloor rocking" and he put on a well known classic that everyone love like "jive bunny" or "eagle rock" or "love shack"

Your DJ/Band and MC will work hand in hand with you to make sure your entertainment for the evening is of high standards. Head straight to the dancefloor and the MC will get your guests up to the dancefloor. Your DJ/Band will have everyone dancing with a crowd favourite tune

The guests at your wedding will normally follow where the bride and groom go, so head straight to the dancefloor and the DJ will get people dancing in no time with upbeat songs.

Traditionally the Bridal Waltz happens straight after the Cutting Of The Cake and is the final official formality of your celebration. General guest dancing will usually begin right after the Waltz is completed and then the party will kick on until your event finishes. Even if you and the Groom are not having a "First Dance" as such, your DJ can always invite you and your guests to the dance floor once the cake is cut, and then off you go. If you are hoping to get a couple of solid and fun filled hours of dancing at your Reception then it's also always a big help if both you and the Groom spend a fair bit of time on the dance floor with your guests.

Best of luck with your wedding,

It depends if you want a slow dance or not, either way it's best for your MC to invite all the guests to join you both on the dance floor for the first song, that way you will have a full dance floor from the start. You can then pick either a slow dance song or an upbeat track but if you pick something upbeat i suggest you pick something that is accessable to all the guests young and older.

There is nothing better than having a lead singer/front person/DJ that has the confidence to get your guests on the dance floor to get the party going. Essentially that is their job.

How about we kick it off with something upbeat that everyone will enjoy? I personally like Celebration by Cool & Gang, always a good floor filler!
