I've been a musician & lover of fun my whole life & involved in weddings for 10+ years! I love to bring that perfect, bespoke vibe to a wedding day through Live Acoustic Performance, DJ & MC. Previously I was a videographer, where I learnt the intricacies of the wedding industry. I'm fun-loving, passionate, personable & a firm believer that a good & smooth atmosphere is a crucial element of your wedding day. Music done right, results in the most memorable occasion you could ever hope for!

Do you DJ & MC as well as Live Music?

Absolutely!

Having one person across all music from start to finish of your wedidng day, results in a much smoother event with no changeovers needed! It also means no double ups on songs & a more cohesive & deliberate music experience at your wedding that flows & builds perfectly from start to finish.

Having less people invloved also means LESS EXPENSE for my couples & a FAR MORE SIMPLE planning process! - dealing with just myself instead of having to coordinate multiple people/bookings/invoices e.t.c.

I always advise that the role of MC should be conducted by someone who understands events well (specifically weddings!). The flow & details of a wedding reception are vitally important. If you decide to ask a family member or fun friend to MC - I am more than happy to assist & guide them on the evening to make sure things do not feel 'amatuer' & clunky. Knowing the subtleties of facilitating a smooth & awesome event, only comes with experience & it is so important to get it right! as it will most certainly impact the entire feel of your reception! :)

Do you learn song requests?

Absolutely! This is one of the things I love most! Your wedding shoiuld be uniquely you!

I'm more than happy to learn acoustic versions of any song you like for your ceremony & items at your reception!! This is included in my fee.
Having a song with special meaning, played in a special way, for your special moments is essential on your wedding day!

I just need to have your special items confirmed at least one month before your wedding date so that i have sufficient time to master them for your special day.

Ceremony: Aisle song/s (Processional), Signing of the register, Bridal Party Announcement (Recessional) & special items.
Reception: Bridal waltz / first dance, Father / daughter dance, Mother Son dance, special items.

Do you travel for destination weddings? Published

Of course!
I've performed at Weddings in Bali, New Zealand, London, Fiji and interstate Australia.
Additional admin & travel fees apply, but I am happy to bring the good vibes anywhere!

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a Booking Fee Deposit secures your date & makes your booking official.

Details off your deposit will be on your invoice which will be sent to you after we have discussed & agreed on what music package & options you would like.

Words cannot express how indebted we are to Tay and how much he contributed to the overall atmosphere, love, vibe and overall smoothness of our big day. A multiskilled man, Tay was our live music entertainment, our MC, our DJ and most importantly our dear friend. Always on call with questions. Always willing to hear out your wants and desires and has creative ways to make these come to life. So many of our guest who had never met Tay before all complemented us afterwards on his amazing voice, his mannerism and they way he kept the night running smoothly. Tay absolutely made our wedding! We had him from the ceremony to the end of the reception and he MC'd for us too. He has the voice of an angel and makes you feel like you've known him forever! From beginning to end he made sure the process was as smooth as possible, communicating with all the other vendors and I have no doubt there's things he helped with on the wedding day I don't even know he did. He is a master of setting a good vibe. So many of our friends want to book Tay for their upcoming weddings and I really hope they do, I could listen to you sing all day!

Tay was amazing! His process was seamless and professional, making everything stress free. He took the time to get to know us as a couple which was reflected in every aspect of our wedding day. From learning acoustic versions of our favourite songs for the ceremony and first dance, to being a fun and personable MC at the reception, he truly made our night extra special. We had so many compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed and loved his music. We'd absolutely recommend Tay to anyone looking for an acoustic guitarist, DJ and MC!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and musician for our wedding. From the very beginning, you were an absolute pleasure to work with, and on the day you went above and beyond in every possible way. The live music during our ceremony and cocktail hour was absolutely beautiful and created the most incredible atmosphere. Then when it came time to party, you completely transformed the room! The dance floor was packed all night, and you somehow managed to play something that everyone loved. We’ve had so many of our guests tell us how amazing the music was and how much they enjoyed the night, and that’s a huge credit to you. Your professionalism, talent, and ability to read the crowd made our wedding everything we hoped it would be and more. Thank you for helping create the most unforgettable day of our lives. Tay is incredible - just book him already!! We are so lucky to have had Tay join us throughout our wedding day – having him join as singer, MC, DJ was the best decision. He made the day run so smoothly, brought so much warmth, love and fun to every part and obviously, brought amazing vibes. Everyone has been saying how awesome he was and we couldn’t agree more. He put so much time and energy into everything, it truly would not have been the same without him. From the music and drums, the way he pumped up everyone giving speeches and not forgetting the shot tray, we had the perfect day and he was an integral part of that. From the very first time we spoke to him, right up until the big day, it was clear he was just all over it and would help us have a fantastic day - it honestly took out so much stress. One thing we particularly wanted to mention, which we didn’t realise until watching back the video, was how he continued the aisle song for us after it ended and I hadn’t quite made it to the top – it was so thoughtful and just shows how incredible he is at what he do – we’re honestly so touched and grateful that he did that. With quite short notice, he also arranged a saxophonist, Tye, to join the reception. He was equally awesome and it was such a fun surprise for our guests as they entered the reception space. Should we get them bleeped or will guests not get offended

Hi! It all depends on your crowd! You definitely want to remove any points of tension from your special day.
I always check in with my couples to see if it is a potential issue.

When singing live - I always adjust the lyrics to eliminate offensive words.

When DJ-ing - I choose the non-explicit versions when available (people singing along will sing whatever they like)

Top level DJ Decks have a 'censor' button which can remove any swear word without losing timing.

If you are worried about it, mention it to your DJ before booking to confirm their equipment has this feature.
