You can DIY your bathroom and we've seen some really great jobs done by people themselves. Trouble is, it can be stressful and time consuming and there are a few ways to do things. With experience comes the ability to adapt to the environment and audience on the fly so you can just enjoy the party and scream on the DF "Oh! I remember this song! I LOVE THIS SONG!"

FAQ

How does the day run in terms of music?

Sam & Andy will play as an acoustic duo for the first half of the wedding (including ceremony, canapés and dinner sets) and then Andy will kick into full DJ mode for the dance floor!

Can specifically chosen songs be performed at the ceremony?

Yes! We can play any song you would like, bespokely arranged and performed live including processional, signing and recessional.

Do you offer a band option for the reception, instead of a DJ?

We do! We can upgrade to the band option at any time up to 8 weeks out from the wedding (this would only be for the reception portion of the day, e.g. 6-11pm). We can perform as a 4 piece band (Sam & Andy, bass & drums) and even add a trumpet or saxophone player to the mix if desired!

Are we able to request some of our favourite dance floor songs (and some not-so-favourite ones too)?

Absolutely! We can provide a repertoire list for you to choose 10 'do' plays and 10 'don't' plays. This will help to give us an idea of what kind of music you're into for us to use as a launching pad as we curate the dance floor sets. We will also read the room to ensure everyone is having a great time and the dance floor is never left empty!

What music will be played between live sets?

We have specially curated background music that will keep the atmosphere perfect during our set breaks. That said, if you have something specific that you’d like to hear, we are happy to play a Spotify playlist you have designed if the link can be sent a week prior to the wedding.

I couldn't recommend Sam and Andy more - guests are still talking about how great they were 3 months later. We used them for our October 2025 wedding, and had live music during ceremony + cocktail hour, MC services and DJ! There was nothing to fault. The dancefloor stayed full, the MC'ing services were engaging, memorable and personalised, and they even learnt a new song for our ceremony music - absolutely amazing.

We had the amazing duo Sam and Andy play at our wedding, and they were absolutely incredible! They really listened to what we wanted and made every moment special. From getting the party started with the groom walking down the aisle to an epic rendition of Sandstorm, to playing a beautiful acoustic version of a rock song for my walk down the aisle. They even played a few fun songs for our toddler to dance to, which we and our guests loved. The dance party afterwards was such a hit thanks to their energy and talent. We couldn’t have asked for better music or better vibes for our day!

Sam and Andy were unreal! They played live music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and over dinner. My wife and I were so pleased with the quality of the live music and the mood they created. Our guests even said how good the live music and dance floor was. Andy also provided MC and DJ services for the reception. He was great. Everything we wanted in a DJ and MC. As MC, he pumped the crowd up and created hype for our dancefloors. We had a brief dancefloor when we first entered the reception, which was one of the highlights. Everyone was up and dancing for a couple of songs and Andy was great in getting everyone pumped. We highly recommend his DJ work for the main dancefloor too. Song choices were perfectly in line with the suggestions we gave him. For our main dancefloor, everyone was up and dancing for the whole 2-3 hours. We knew it would be good, but it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We had so much fun. Music is really important to us and Sam and Andy got it spot on. We had a call with Andy in the week leading up to our wedding, which put us at ease. After the call, we had complete faith and trust in Andy. He knows exactly what he is doing, how to read the room and make it all play out the way we requested. We cannot thank Sam and Andy enough. They helped make our day so great and so much fun. We would not change a thing, and we would highly recommend Sam and Andy to anyone looking for live music/DJ/MC services!
