After appearing on The Voice Australia in 2013, Jake Edgley has been an artist in-demand. As well as releasing his own music, Jake performs widely at weddings, festivals, and other major events. Most often seen with a guitar slung across his chest, Jake’s vast repertoire includes all of the biggest pop, R&B, folk, and rock tracks.

FAQ

Do you provide all your own equipment?

Yes! All quotes include enough speakers and lighting to accomodate up to 250 people. If your wedding exceeds this number (yes I've performed at a 300+ wedding) then I can hire additional equipment at the client's expense.

Are you happy to travel a long way to our wedding?

Absolutely! I have been flown internationally for weddings and am always happy to organise my flights/accomodation. The cost of extra expenses will be included in your quote.

Do you have much experience DJing? What does your setup look like?

I have been DJing weddings since I started performing full-time back in 2013. I'm always happy to work with clients on what they would like played and can take requests of just about any song in the world on the night.

I have what would be considered the industry standard for portable DJs. I use an Apple Laptop and Pioneer DJ controller for my mixing and assorted facades, speaker scrims and lighting to make the performance space look incredible. You can see videos of my DJ setups on my Instagram highlights.

Absolutely amazing! Jake was there for our whole wedding and I couldn’t of been happier! He played the guitar and sung so beautiful that we had people coming up to us saying how talented he was. Then Jake was a Dj at night and had everyone on the dance floor! Best time ever! Would highly recommend to anyone who has an event coming up, you won’t be disappointed.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and entertainer than Jake for our wedding. Having worked at many weddings with him over the years, I've seen firsthand how talented he is and how easily he gets a crowd up and having fun, so I knew he was the perfect choice for our special day. Jake was amazing from start to finish. He helped with our ceremony music and went above and beyond by incorporating a recording of our daughter speaking before I walked down the aisle. It was such a special and emotional moment that we'll never forget, and it meant so much to us that he helped bring that vision to life. When it came to the reception, Jake absolutely nailed it. He read the room perfectly, kept the energy high, and had everyone on the dance floor having an incredible time. So many of our guests commented on how great he was throughout the night, and even afterwards people were still asking about him and telling us how much they loved the music and atmosphere he created. Jake is professional, organised, fun, and incredibly talented at what he does. We absolutely loved having Jake Edgely as our musician, DJ, and MC! He started by playing acoustic guitar and singing for our ceremony, which was such a personal and romantic highlight. Then, he smoothly flipped into an incredible DJ set that kept the dance floor packed all night long (we've seen him at pubs, so we knew what we were getting!). Jake also totally came through by organising a fantastic sax player for the evening.A huge, fun touch that everyone loved. Planning with Jake was easy and actually fun he's super organised and welcoming. He can play an incredible range of music. Midway through the night, he stepped in as our MC, and the night ran flawlessly and on time. He even set up an Audio Phone Book for guests to record messages, which was a brilliant extra detail. We can't recommend Jake highly enough. He delivers a stress-free, high energy experience that you and your guests will absolutely love!
