With full MC services included in every wedding DJ package, there's no need to organise a separate Master of Ceremonies.
From welcoming guests and introducing speeches to coordinating your special moments and opening the dance floor, David will help keep your reception flowing naturally, working alongside your venue and other wedding suppliers.

Hi, I'm David, or DJ Dave to many of my couples. I first put two record decks together at seven, and music has been a passion ever since. I've been DJing for over 25 years and now work full-time as a wedding DJ and MC. I love getting to know each couple, hearing their plans and helping them feel at ease. From our first conversation to the final song, you'll deal directly with me, with the experience to manage those important moments and the enthusiasm to get the party started!

Absolutely! Your wedding soundtrack should reflect your personalities, musical tastes and the atmosphere you want to create.
As an open-format DJ, David plays music across all genres and decades, from timeless classics and 80s and 90s favourites to R&B, dance, rock, modern chart hits and everything in between.
Through our online planning platform, you can share your must-play songs, favourite artists and anything you'd rather avoid. Guest requests are welcome too!
On the night, David will use his experience to read the room, mix things up and keep the music flowing, balancing your favourites with the songs that get your guests celebrating.
After all, it's your wedding, your music and your party!
Absolutely! Alongside our wedding reception DJ and MC services, we offer optional ceremony music and sound, and cocktail hour music to help create the right atmosphere throughout your celebrations.
For your ceremony, we'll provide professional sound equipment and personally manage the music, from your guests' arrival through to those special moments, including entrances, signing and your celebratory exit. Every song is carefully cued at just the right moment, working alongside your celebrant to ensure everything runs smoothly.
During cocktail hour, we'll create the perfect musical backdrop as your guests mingle, enjoy a drink and relax before the reception.
Whether you'd like music for your entire wedding day or just selected parts, we'll tailor everything around your plans.
Absolutely! When you book United in Music DJs, you're booking David (DJ Dave) to personally look after both your DJ entertainment and MC duties.

From the ever-popular Shoe Game, Scavenger Hunt and Anniversary Countdown to other games and special activities, David can help you explore the options, plan the timing and personally host them as your MC.
We'll make sure everything fits naturally into your reception, with the right music, introductions and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
And if games aren't your thing, that's absolutely fine too! There's no pressure to include anything that doesn't feel right for you.

United in Music DJs is based in Bundaberg, Queensland, and proudly provides professional wedding DJ and MC services throughout the Wide Bay, Burnett and Fraser Coast regions, as well as surrounding areas.
Our regular service area extends from Gympie through Hervey Bay and Bundaberg to Gladstone and Rockhampton, including regional and rural wedding venues along the way.
