FAQ

Will it be the same musicians (Hein & Ebony) I have seen and heard who perform at my event?

Yes absolutely!

The only reason we would ever ever have to get somebody else to stand in is if (knock on wood) one of us was too unwell to perform.

Will you learn a song for our first dance?

Yes! Depending on the package you choose, we are willing to learn up to 3 songs that aren't already a part of our repertoire.

How long will you play and what happens during breaks?

This is totally depending on the package you choose. Our most popular package is 3 hours (Ceremony, Canape Cocktail hour & Dinner) of live music with short breaks in between in which we will play background music using a curated playlist and then 3 hours of us DJing non stop right to the end of your night!

Can we have some input into the play list?

Absolutely, we actually encourage this!

We have an extensive live music repertoire and an even larger DJ repertoire, that we send out to you to choose from.

What do we need to provide for you?

We will need a space to set up with an electrical supply, your runsheet so we can make sure to be on top of your schedule and have our music playing accordingly and we super appreciate a staff/vendor meal organised pre event if you book us for 4+ hours.

Eb and Hein were absolutely incredible!! From the very beginning, they brought such an amazing energy - their acoustic set was beautiful, with stunning vocals that created a relaxed, intimate vibe for our guests, then they seamlessly transitioned into a DJ set which Hein led, that completely lifted the energy of the night. They were a dream to work with from start to finish. They really took the time to understand our vision and ran with it, bringing everything together effortlessly. They handled all the setup themselves, DJ table, decks, lighting and even organised smoke machines for us when we mentioned it, which just shows how above and beyond they go. Communication in the lead-up was fantastic, and they were always so easy, responsive, and collaborative. They also offered great song suggestions for key moments throughout the day, which we really appreciated. They even recommended adding a sax for the evening to play along with the DJ set, which worked perfectly as they already had experience performing together. Music was incredibly important to us, and they absolutely delivered! The acoustic set was perfect for our garden party-style cocktail hour, think modern and old pop songs reimagined acoustically, creating the most beautiful atmosphere for our guests. Then, as the night went on, their transition into the DJ set was seamless and elevated the entire vibe. Our dance floor was packed all night after the first dance, and the energy never dropped. Hein was amazing at reading the room and adjusting the DJ music to suit the crowd. We had guests of all ages up dancing all night! So many people commented on how good the music was with the incredible mix of genres and eras. They are both so talented, professional, and genuinely lovely to work with. We couldn’t imagine our wedding day without them and would recommend them in a heartbeat 🤍

Would highly recommend Monday Lane for your wedding day! Through the whole process Hein & Ebony were so easy to deal with and made everything very easy for me. Picking what type of music I wanted at my wedding was probably the hardest part for me as I'm not a massive music know it all, they gave me a big list of song selections which made it stress free and relaxing to pick. Don't think I left the dancefloor all night and all my guests raved about the acoustics and DJ set.
