The spectacular clifftop garden is the perfect location for your ceremony, pre-reception drinks & canapes can be held on the terrace balcony, both with incomparable ocean views. The versatile inner terrace and restaurant dining room are reception spaces designed to be a blank canvas for you to decorate and style as you wish. At Jonah’s every wedding is completely unique, reflecting the personal style and taste of the couple.

After more than 95 years of operation at Jonah’s, we have had the pleasure of hosting thousands of weddings. Our team across the restaurant, kitchen, hotel reception and back office are passionate about delivering seamless events through every step of the planning and execution process. Our main goal is always to create experiences that leave long lasting memories for our guests. Jonah's has a few options for events:

LUNCH: Guest arrival 11am, Ceremony start time 11:30am, Reception timing 12pm - 5pm

DINNER: Guest arrival 5pm, Ceremony start time 5:30pm, Reception timing 6pm - 11pm

EXCLUSIVE 24 HOUR HIRE: Whole venue for 24 luxurious hours from 11 am to 11 am the next day. 

All Wedding Packages include the following:

  • Dedicated wedding coordinator to ensure your day runs smoothly
  • Access to the Terrace balcony overlooking the picturesque Whale Beach
  • Outdoor terrace seating area with Coco Republic furniture and Tuuci parasol umbrellas
  • White damask table linen and napkins, glassware, cutleryand crockery
  • Table set-up including placement of your name cards, bonbonnieres and any additional décor provided by you
  • Seasonal flower arrangement in entrance foyer
  • Personalised printed menus for each guest
  • Vera Wang cake knife set and cake table
  • Your wedding cake served as petit fours

Jonah's has two types of weddings we can hold, see below for details:

Full Venue Exclusive Wedding Package:

  • Thursday - Saturday 
  • Maximum capacity 122pax 

Terrace Wedding Package:

  • Thursday - Saturday, Lunch only
  • Maximum capacity 40 pax

Yes you can! We have a beautiful ceremony lawn in our clifftop garden with sweeping views of Whale Beach and the Pacific Ocean. 

Both our Exclusive and Terrace Wedding Packages include a ceremony on our clifftop lawn. A Jonah's ceremony includes the following:

  • 20 white chairs
  • Signing table 
  • Coordinator on the day 
  • Wet wether backup option 

Yes we do, we have 11 luxury Ocean Retreat rooms onsite for you and your guests to enjoy. The bride and groom as well as their guests recieve a special rate when staying on the night of the wedding. The accommodation package includes a 2 course a la carte breakfast the following morning. Enquire with our events team for rates.

No we don't. We are a full service venue and we have an award winning wine list with around 1,600 wines to select from so we guarantee that our expert Sommelier can put together the perfect beverage selection for your special day.

We reccommend booking in a site visit with some one from the events team so that they can show you around the property and talk you through the details for your wedding at Jonah's. Email our Sales and Events Manager to organise your visit. You are also welcome to have dinner in our resturant as a great way to experience the service and restaurant quality cuisine that your guests will experience at your wedding.

Jonah's was amazing. The outlook was perfect. It looks out over the whole beach. The service was similar to french dining. I loved it. The service was really good. Everyone at the wedding said the food was amazing. We also booked their accommodation as we had a large amount of guests. The rooms were beautiful

Jonah's is beyond outstanding. The food, the quality of alcohol and the staff are second to none. They really make sure that your day is special and that you are looked after the entire time. There is no need to have a planner with Jonah's because they take care of everything. Jonah's is incredibly expensive, but you get what you pay for that is for sure.
