What areas do you service?

We usually service from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane to the Gold Coast, however, we are willing to travel anywhere throughout Australia.

Will you help us with the order of events for the wedding day?

Yes – I will help make sure your day ‘runs like clockwork’. There will be no awkward pauses, boring bits, embarrassing humour or missed special moments on my watch!

Do we need to provide you a meal?

Thank you – but not required. I’ll be busy ensuring your day is going to YOUR plan and playing specially chosen songs for every moment. The same goes for alcohol, but I have been known to enjoy the odd Diet Coke while on the job.

What equipment do you use?

I won’t bore you with the details (if you’re into this stuff, please ask – I’d love to tell you about my awesome gear!), but know that it is high quality, meticulously maintained DJ equipment that is designed to fill a venue space with music at the perfect volume in all areas. My set-up is professional looking, and offers a degree of privacy to keep the tech stuff out of eyeshot, but open enough for everyone to feel a part of what I am doing back there.

What about extras and other options?

Ceremony options: Yes (no power required). Uplighting: Yes. Photobooth: Yes, talk to me about how to really create ‘party central’ at your wedding. How much do you charge?

As no two weddings are the same, I focus on tailoring my service based on exactly what you want. I would love to give you an exact quote but need a little information. A quick chat to discuss your options and vision for your wedding day, and I will give you an idea of price over the phone. The price you pay is be based on guaranteed results on your wedding day.

How do I find the RIGHT DJ for us?

All DJ’s look the same online! They all have pictures of people dancing having a good time, they all have great reviews and they all have won some kind of bridal industry award (this is more about marketing).

ANSWER: The truth is, ALL DJ's are NOT the same. Meet a DJ in person BEFORE you book them.

Do you have a written contract/agreement?

Yes, you should insist on everything in writing outlining what you are getting from your DJ; price, inclusions, everything!

Do you offer any guarantees?

If you are not absolutely ‘thrilled’ at the end of your wedding I will refund your money. In some ways it's a terrible guarantee...ask me why when we speak.

Paul was amazing to deal with in the lead up to our wedding (which was cancelled twice). We got the photobooth as well as having his business partner (who stepped in last minute when Paul went to hospital) do the DJ & MC for the day/night. Everyone loved the photobooth, and both Paul & Nathan were so lovely and accommodating.

Paul was AMAZING!! From start to finish he was invested in your big day to make sure it ran smoothly. Paul is very thorough and explains his services and role, then meets with you before the big day to go over all the finer details, including times and songs to play. Paul also works in with your other suppliers to ensure the day runs smoothly and on time - from the photographer, caterer and venue staff. The photobooth was so much fun with great props and getting a copy of all the images on USB. He entertains and mingles with your guests too and had a few surprises for us on the night which were so fun and break the monotony of a usual reception - he was an expert at remembering peoples names. We found his package to be very competitive - ceremony music + reception music + MC.

How quickly do we need to book in a band or DJ for our wedding?

Here's something most will not share but the following 2 time frames are true. The longer before you book and within a couple of weeks the price is usually higher; 6 weeks is the norm. Happy to explain why and how it works.

What exactly does an MC do?

In short, the MC (Master of Ceremonies) will be the person on the day will ensure all YOUR plans are followed. An experienced MC will get you the BEST VALUE for all the $ you have spent for your wedding day. The MC should ensure your day 'flows' with no boring or embarassing momnets. A good MC can be an experienced wedding DJ if they are willing to do the job; YES it is a very important job on the day and will ultimately determine the VALUE you receive from all the hard work you've done for your wedding day.
