With more than 10 years of experience as a wedding performer, Sydney musician Jake Edgley knows how to set the right tone for the day. He has played at more than 400 weddings across Australia and internationally, stunning guests with his ability to present as a solo artist or in a duo, band, or DJ capacity. Jake is also available as an MC, so there’s no need for you to hire separate vendors!

After appearing on The Voice Australia in 2013, Jake Edgley has been an artist in-demand. As well as releasing his own music, Jake performs widely at weddings, festivals, and other major events. Most often seen with a guitar slung across his chest, Jake’s vast repertoire includes all of the biggest pop, R&B, folk, and rock tracks.

FAQ

Yes! All quotes include enough speakers and lighting to accomodate up to 250 people. If your wedding exceeds this number (yes I've performed at a 300+ wedding) then I can hire additional equipment at the client's expense.

Absolutely! I have been flown internationally for weddings and am always happy to organise my flights/accomodation. The cost of extra expenses will be included in your quote.

I have been DJing weddings since I started performing full-time back in 2013. I'm always happy to work with clients on what they would like played and can take requests of just about any song in the world on the night.

I have what would be considered the industry standard for portable DJs. I use an Apple Laptop and Pioneer DJ controller for my mixing and assorted facades, speaker scrims and lighting to make the performance space look incredible. You can see videos of my DJ setups on my Instagram highlights.

I would recommend Jake Edgley Music to anybody getting married - he was a complete professional, and made the entire process (including all of the planning and everything on the big day) feel easy. He performed acoustic music earlier in the evening and also acted as a DJ later at night, and it was so convenient being able to have both of these things in the same musician. I didn't have to worry about music, or anything going wrong, for the entire day - and was just able to enjoy it.

Jake brought the noise! This was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding by far!!! I gave Jake some key words about the vibe for the reception and he absolutely owned it. All night my friends kept telling me how good he was and if they could request a song - which Jake happily obliged. If you want to see a true musical genius in action, you have to book Jake.
