For the best results and hair creation on your wedding day I recommend all clients to have their hair washed with two shampoos to remove any build up, pollutants or existing styles on the hair and lightly conditioned throughout the midlengths to ends. Keeping in mind not to over treat the hair with products and styling tools as this may cause styles to relax and become weak on the day. This is to be completed the night before or morning of the wedding.

Although you may be extremely excited about playing around with styles for your big day, I highly recommened booking in for a trial closer towards or within three months of the wedding date. I recommend this scheulde as many of the finer details have been decided by this point in the wedding planning process including dress, veil, hair accessories, jewellery etc.

Many styles can benefit from hair thickness and volume but it is not always necessary. if this is something you wish to consider please do not hestitate to send photos of your hair inspo to discuss this further with your stylist with more personalised advice around your hair type, texture and length.

If you have considered or are unsure about using a veil as a feature for your wedding day, I suggest bringing it along to your hair trial or to test it in your hair at home before the wedding to make sure placement is correct and it has long wear comfortability for your big day! Other factors to consider are you dress type and shape, your hairstyle and its visability and your accessories to match!

I would recommended a time buffer of 1-2 weeks when applying hair colour or getting your haircut before your wedding day, this leaves enough time for colours to settle and time for your haircut to soften to make sure it is exactly what you want for your big day.
