Viorika is a top hired and rated makeup artist and hairstylist, passionate about helping women enhance their natural beauty and look flawless and stunning on their big day. Viorika has trained in both Europe and Australia and, as well as creating makeup looks for events, she has also had her talent recognised in several editorial pieces, including Vogue Italia.
Viorika started her working life as a highly successful lawyer in Europe, before moving to Australia and working in corporate governance. But she knew this wasn’t the career that spoke to her heart. In 2018, she decided to make her dream a reality and Viorika Makeup was born.
“I just have always had a passion for beauty and I’m now lucky to have my profession match this – I provide makeup and hairstyle services for some of the most exquisite weddings and events in the region and I just love it,” she says.
When asked what her favourite element of her work is though, she says it is always her clients. “I love working on all kinds of events but it’s really all about working with people. I’ve got so many beautiful regular clients now that I see often, and it is more like a friendship than work now.”
Her style is focused on modern, elegant glowing looks that will look just as good in person as they do in photographs. To achieve this, Viorika exclusively utilises the best luxury make-up and skincare products including brands like Tom Ford, Nars and Dior. A strong emphasis on hygiene and disinfection is also something she feels is vital to the profession.
Viorika Makeup is based at her beautifully appointed home studio in Mosman however, for larger functions such as weddings, she is always happy to travel.
From her studio she also offers makeup workshops and lessons to empower women to be able to achieve some of these great looks themselves as well as training other makeup artists.
Viorika was more than happy to share her number one beauty tip “I always work to enhance my client’s natural features. Honestly, it’s all about being comfortable, not trying to look like someone else. If you are comfortable, you are confident.”

How can I ensure great wedding makeup?

It is totally worth having a bridal trial makeup to ensure you are happy with the way it looks in real life and also on photos (a good HMUA will take pics & videos of the final result and can also use a professional light as the lighting will change the way everything looks in photos). I often try different makeup looks on my brides (we can do 2 different eye looks) and we then choose one and all the products that she preferred / worked best. Takes away a lot of stress and worry from the bride on the big day. :)
Is it wrong to only have my makeup done on my wedding day if my bridesmaid don't want to pay?

Hi there, as weddings tend to last a long time I would suggest you using a long lasting lipstick (my favs are from Nars, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Huda Beauty) and as you did mention having dry lips I would make sure to moisturise them really well before applying any lip product (using a lip scrub for a week prior to the wedding would also help hips). As to lip glosses - I love the ones from Fenty Beauty, Nars, Dior and also NYX for a cheaper option (none of them feel sticky on the lips).
