Kristie did my makeup for my Hens and Wedding! She absolutely blew me away with what she was capable of doing and was so accommodating with my requests. I dont think I could possibly explain how blessed I feel that Kristie was part of the happiest day of my life. There are no words to explain how beautiful I looked and even more the way I FELT. I was so nervous and overwhelmed about my wedding, I wanted everything to be perfect especially me. From the moment Kristie arrived until she finally left, she made me feel like I was a real Queen . I loved Kristie! She was so professional and easy going. I hired her for both my engagement photos and my wedding and I am so glad I chose her. She did an amazing job with mine and my bridesmaids hair and make up. One thing I noticed when looking for a make up artist is that everyone seemed to have the same look for everyone they did. Kristie is not that way, she creates a look that is best for each individual and able to achieve the exact look you are wanting. I would definitely recommend her!

Hairstyles that go with a strapless ballgown

Hi! I've just bought my DREAM wedding dress! It's a strapless ballgown. I'm wondering what hairstyle would suit this dress - it's classic I would say. My hair is dead straight! I'll be wearing a veil, too. Would love some ideas :)

A long shear veil looks gorgeous paired with a sleek low bun, a voluminous low bun, or chignon for a more romantic aesthetic. 

A loose up-do off the neck looks beautiful on medium to long curly/ wavy hair. (This can be added curls on straight hair) 

Brides with long hair should consider a voluminous ponytail, the bigger, the better! Or a soft braided chignon is wonderful for texture, fab if you want a little softness with extra hight added at the top too. 

A loose half up / half down that feels casual but elegant. "If your strapless is lacy and boho, go for a relaxed and romantic half-updo, beach waves, and lots of texture. 

A smooth blow out, side swept blowout or tight curl also look amazing.

Congratulations on your engagement! 

I personally charge $50 to $75 travel fee depending on location  - I have additional fees for destination weddings eg, if I’m flying out of state driving more than 2 hours or traveling overseas etc. 

I am always upfront with full costs when quoting  my brides.
