Where do you source your flowers?

Each week during peak wedding season, we make a trip to the Sydney Flower Markets to source the freshest local seasonal flowers and foliage. We work with a variety of growers and wholesalers both at the Sydney Flower Markets and in Newcastle. We love working with in season flowers but due to Mother Nature, sometimes we're unable to get a particular flower. If this happens we always find a beautiful substitute to work with your colour palette.

How far ahead should I book?

As soon as you've booked your wedding date with your ceremony and reception venue, we would recommend getting in touch to talk about your flowers. For peak wedding periods (August through to May), we're receiving enquiries and bookings up to 18 months ahead. So to avoid disappointment, it's best to book earlier rather than later.

Do you have a minimum spend?

Whether you're after the ultimate wedding or hosting an intimate elopement, I'm happy to work with your budget and have NO minimum spend! The important thing is to be realistic with what you're after versus what you're willing to spend on your gorgeous florals. Whether you're after luxe or less, together we design and create personalised flowers for your magical day.

What other services do you offer, what areas do you service and where are you located?

Part of working with MeOhMy is we not only create personal flowers including bouquets and flower pins but also provide corsages, floral wands, hair flowers, ceremony blooms, reception table flowers and styling, cake flowers, floral installations, vase hire and candles, as well as a full delivery service, onsite setup and pack down.

We create weddings and events throughout Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and Central Coast and have over hundreds of weddings and happy couples on our resume.

All our designing (and flower creating mess making) is done from our home Studio, in Awabakal Country, Lake Macquarie, Belmont.

I found Megan through a Google search of wedding flower suppliers that catered to the Hunter Valley. Megan's website connected to us because it felt genuine, and you could tell right away that this wasn't just a business to her, it was her life's passion. I loved her use of seasonal and native flowers, and her portfolio was bursting with colour and style. And that was exactly what she brought to our wedding day! After booking Megan, she sent us a mood board and a detailed plan of what she envisioned our wedding would look like, and everything turned out precisely as she described. Megan was very sweet and accommodating, working to plan floral arrangements to suit both our theme and our budget. The flowers were pretty, and the green atmosphere that Megan created for us in the reception area with hanging vines and branches was beautiful and set a magical tone for the entire evening.
