With a passion for flowers blooming since she was 15, she has honed her craft over the years, becoming a true artisan. We are available for phone consultations and when possible, we can book in a consultation at our flower sudio which is also open to the public during the week.
As you know, flowers are seasonal. We do grow some of our own varities here at Pikt and incorporate flowers from local and international markets. We try as hard as we can to source the flowers you want but if we can't, Caroline and her skilled team will be able to substitute flowers and make sure the colour palette and syle is still matched.
We are set up for couples to pick up their florals. We even have late evening and early morning options available.

Yes, Caroline and her wedding team are fully qualified florists having completed their Cert III in floristry and business. Caroline completed her qualifications in 2003 at the age of 18, she also has over 20 years of industry experience.
Yes, we are based in the suburb Ewingsdale, 2km from the byron turn off our 4th generation family farm. We really are in the Byron Hinterland and you are more than welcome to come and visit us during work hours. We also have a sister store in the heart of Byron Bay called 'Pikt Posy Co' so everybody can enjoy our flowers.

Get Expert AdviceIs January a hard date for flowers to be supplied for a wedding?
Hello! My partner & I are getting married in Byron Bay and hoping for 11 Jan 2025. We have been told my a florist that flowers around that time are hard to get as wholesalers close normally until 14 January. We are wondering whether we should change our wedding date because we’d love to have some gorgeous flowers for the day and not a limited supply and ones that doesn’t match our colours & make us feel fab. I am not particular about type of flowers more style of bouquet and colours. The florist we have spoken to can’t really tell us either way if anything will be available and we feel is more focused on booking us than helping us be realistic. Your advice is appreciated!

Hello,
This is correct. During the first one to two weeks of January the local and international markets are closed so it is difficult to get flowers. We are a Byron based florist and it can be a lot more challenging for us to get stock. If something doesn't arrive, it's a 4 to 5 hour round trip to the markets. We have our own flower farm and still find it challenging during the Christmas/New Year break.
If you have the option of moving your wedding date a week then it is more likely your florist will be able to create exactly what you would like or at least be able to substitute any florals that are still not available.
