Congratulations on your engagement, in regards to alterations you will need to speak directly to the seamtresses as prices will vary.

Generally speaking as long as the size is correct you will usually only need a hem, bustle and cups. However this will vary from bride to bride and with the addition of

customizing gowns.

Kind regards

Dear Bride

Basic Wedding Dress alterations are not expensive through JARDIN COUTURE due to fact we make Gowns on premisis and do not engage a third person.

It depends on your alteration , how many hours work is involved , how many layers of fabric has to be cut to adjust the hem  ! The best way is approaching your nomination store Alteration store or wedding designer to give you estimated quote to alter your gown.

I have Alteration shop next to my bridal shop and we meet client in the alteration store and look what it needs to be done . As a professional designer and attention to detail altering a wedding gown is very easy for us because we customise gowns and make gowns of the rack as well , therefore alteration is very easy job for any bridal designer.

best wishes

The best way to find out cost of the alterations is to aproach your local alterations place, dressmaker, designer studio and just talk to them.

Myself, as a service provider, I meet with the bride and do a fitting with her to assess what necessary changes or alterations need to be done to the wedding dress in question and provide her with obligation free quote. This is free consultation. I charge $90.00 per hour for my work, but that alone will not give you idea how much it would cost to alter your dress. Each business will have different processes to follow. I am fairly fast with my work so I can get a lot done in an hour, so overall cost might be cheaper than a place that charges say $50.00 per hour if they are slower.

Just talk to a few people, I always say to my clients to do a bit of research before making final decision.
