Every gown is crafted entirely in-house, from patternmaking and cutting to sewing and hand detailing. With a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and more than six years of couture bridal experience, Lilian brings expert craftsmanship to each piece, while Co-Founder Mandie Fordham helps create a calm and supportive experience from consultation to final fitting.

Each gown at Lilian Bree Couture is meticulously handmade in-house, from patternmaking and cutting to sewing and hand detailing. To ensure the highest quality and precision, a custom bridal gown typically takes 8–10 months to complete.
Each gown is lovingly handcrafted by Lilian in her Camden studio, where every design begins with a vision and is brought to life with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. From the first sketch to the final stitch, each gown is created with care to ensure every bride wears a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece on her special day.
You will typically have five appointments throughout the process to ensure your gown is made perfectly for you. These include:
Measurements Appointment – We take your measurements and discuss your design in detail.
Toile Appointment – You try on a mock-up of your gown to check the shape and structure.
First Fitting – Your gown begins to take shape and initial adjustments are made.
Second Fitting – Final refinements are made to ensure the perfect fit.
Final Pickup – Your finished gown is ready to take home!
No. Every Lilian Bree Couture gown is custom-made to your precise measurements. Throughout the creation process, you'll attend five personalised fittings to ensure your gown fits beautifully. By the time your gown is complete, there is no need to go anywhere else for alterations—your gown has been expertly fitted just for you.
No. You are not required to pay for your gown upfront. Once you decide to create your gown with Lilian Bree Couture, a 10% deposit is required within seven days to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is then divided into manageable payments, which are spread across your scheduled appointments throughout the creation of your custom gown.
