Rita, owner and operator of Sweet Designs by Rita, found her love of floristry, cake and cookie designing quite by accident. Having baked cakes and cookies for friends and family from a young age, Rita soon found that baking and designing cakes was her passion. Rita knew that she wanted to create something spectacular that will help create a perfect atmosphere for any event and something that will wow all and never be forgotten.

I offer delivery for all over Sydney, it is definitely an option that is taken up by most brides & grooms to ensure safe arrival of their Cake. Delivery charge is dependant on exact location. 

Yes! Its quite common to be unsure of the exact design you want for your Wedding Cake, and that is why I am here. I will help you throughout the whole creative process, without overwhelming you with hundreds of options. 

Booking Fees are non-refundable.

Wedding cake consulation is FREE. I would love to help you create your personal wedding cake!

Tell us the details of your wedding and feel free to send your source of inspirations, such as pictures, photo references, etc. We will then provide you with a draft sketch of the cake (if required) and invoice will be sent once you confirm the order.

All our cakes are nut free. We also provide gluten free options.

Sweet Designs by Rita went above and beyond to create a personalised masterpiece for our wedding. Sitting at 7 tiers high, personalised to incorporate the silver fern of New Zealand, our favourite saying subtly nested away at the back, drapped in florals, gold and white themed and providing multiple flavours we would highly recommend time and time again. Rita's down to earth, yet highly detailed approach ensures youre not only satisfied but also blown away by the creation. Sweet Designs by Rita was not out first choice, but I am so glad we choose her. Her cakes were the most delicious of all those we tried, (some other providers were super dense) and she was able to bring the creation to life from an inspiration picture. Honestly cannot recommend enough, we are still receiving compliemnts today, many months post wedding.

Having Rita make our wedding cake was one of the best wedding planning decisions I made! My wedding cake not only looked magnificent but the taste was so delicious. It was very important for me that my cake stood out as it was the centrepiece of my wedding party and Rita completely over exceeded my expectations in bringing to life this unique and difficult design I had in my head.
