Aleisha Leman has been doing what she loves – making cakes – for as long as she can remember. Yes! I offer free tastings if you would like to sit down and have a chat about your cake, or alternatively I also offer take away taster boxes !
We do a Gluten Free Chocolate Mud cake for those who are coeliac, and we do not add nuts into any of our recipes however we do use chocolate which can contain traces. We unfortunately do not offer egg free or dairy free options at this stage.
Yes, We offer (and always recommend) that you get your cake delivered to the venue. Delivery Charges apply and can vary depending on location but we deliver far and wide!
It is recomended you allow around 4 months notice to book wedding cakes however this can vary depending on the month of year. We are a small, fully registered home business and we take very limited wedding cakes each week to ensure our quality on every order, so it is always good to get in early to avoid dissapointment.
I am always happy to collaborate with your florist when it comes to flowers for your cake, its always nice when everything matches! I prefer the flowers to be delivered to me the day prior so that I can tape and wire them correctly the morning of the event and attach them to the cake prior to delivery to the venue. Alternatively I also have a wonderful local florist and can usually match flowers easily. Some florists like to put the flowers onto the cake themselves which is also ok so long as the flowers are taped prior to being attached to the cake

Fondant Features
Usually, if you are using fresh flowers for your reception and bouquets its nice for the flowers to match in which case it is best to use the same florist. Sometimes this is not convinient, in which case most cake makers (including myself) can source the flowers for you. Fresh flowers need to be taped and wired to attach to the cake so I usually recommend supplying flowers the day before or the morning of - prior to delivery so they can be correctly attached to the cake.
