Nervousness is completely natural, and I always aim to create a relaxed atmosphere for you and your guests. If unexpected hiccups occur, I handle them with humor and grace, turning potential stress into a memorable part of the ceremony. It's essential to keep the focus on celebrating your love, no matter what surprises may come our way. 

My favuorite part is the moment when the couple exchanges their vows. It's a powerful and intimate expression of love. While I appreciate classic traditions, I also appreciate that public speaking is not everyone's gig. For instance, I once had a couple exchange love letters in a private moment prior to the ceremony, creating a beautiful keepsake for them to cherish.

For another couple, I embedded their vows into their their love story. It was magical. 

I wholeheartedly embrace the warmth, humour and unpredictability that both bring to a ceremony. I believe weddings are about capturing genuine moments, and sometimes that includes the delightful surprises that come with having fur babies or little humans involved. To handle these situations, I approach them with flexibility and a sense of humor. It's all about going with the flow, adapting to the unexpected, and creating memorable moments that add an extra layer of joy to your special day...after all you are surrounded by your family and friends who love you the most!

This happens more often than you might think! If the ring takes an unexpected detour, I usually have some lighthearted banter prepared to ease any tension while it's being retrived from the floor/grass/ sand....

If the ring isn't quickly found, we can improvise with a symbolic exchange and retrieve the original later. The most important thing is to keep the moment relaxed and focus on the significance of the commitment you're making to each other.

Absolutely. My commitment as a celebrant is to honor and celebrate the unique love story of each couple, regardless of gender, culturural background or age, for those over 18. I take pride in creating inclusive and personalised ceremonies that reflect the individuality of each relationship.
