OVERVIEW
I am passionate, confident, happy, easy to talk to and ever so slightly quirky. As your celebrant I will help you through the process of getting married or being joined in civil union. Whether that's designing the perfect ceremony or advising you on the marriage/civil union law requirements.
All my weddings include a 1 hour free no obligation consultation either at my house, via skype or email. Then should you decide to have me as your celebrant we will then meet again this time to discuss the type of ceremony you would like.
You will be able to create something totally unique to you.
I can advise you on readings, music and vows both secular or religious whichever is your preference. Together creating the perfect day for you both. Then I will put together a ceremony just for you which you will receive via email to alter as you wish before we finalize the plan.
We can then meet again if you would like too plus as much email and skype support as your require.
I will then be available for a rehearsal before attending your big day.
I will stay until the first pictures are taken and then leave you to enjoy your day with family and friends unless you would like me to stay longer.
I am available to MC your day should you require me to do so.

You can get married wherever you would like. If you are marrying at an outdoor venue you should check if council permits are required.
The Summer months are the busiest for Celebrants and we get booked quickly. Once you have your date and venue booked then you should book your Celebrant. Choose someone you feel really comfortable with, there should be chemistry! You will be working with your Celebrant for some weeks/months so it’s really important you like them! Make sure you book a celebrant at least a month before you need one, due to the paperwork required.
I require a $250 deposit once you have decided to book my services. Full payment is required at two weeks before your ceremony and can be paid in cash, card or via internet banking.
I am based on the Gold Coast, and provide services all around the region. I will happily travel anywhere in the country for an extra fee.
I do have a number of set ceremonies for you to choose from but much prefer to create a unique service just for you to meet your requirements.
I will arrive about half an hour before the ceremony and stay until the first pictures are taken. I do not generally stay to the reception unless requested specifically as it adds extra cost to the day for you, but I am often invited to join everyone for a celebratory drink after the ceremony.
I do not recommend it as nerves can really take hold on the day. You don't have to no, unless you would like to, otherwise you will either repeat after me or read from a card.
It is not essential but I highly recommended a rehearsal. It tends to calm nerves and worries about the big day. It normally takes place the day before the service.

As a civil/secular celebrant I generally design non-religious ceremonies. However I am most happy and comfortable to include any wording, readings or other material that you want in your ceremony whether that is religious or not.
