Choosing Marilyn to be our celebrant was the best decision we ever made! It’s not just that she has exceptional organisational skills or that her background in theatre production makes her a natural at directing events, but also the fact that she so obviously LOVES what she does and cares deeply about the couples she works with. When we met Marilyn in person it was more like talking to an old friend rather than a celebrant, her bubbly, friendly and relentlessly upbeat personality was even more contagious in person and put us completely at ease. When our big day came, it was nothing short of AMAZING with all the work and planning that Marilyn had done paying off beyond all expectations with a seemingly perfect balance of emotion, sentiment and humour. Marilyn captured and held the audience’s attention right from the start, and had them veering between laughter and tears of joy as she told our story, and even while we were lost in the magic of the moment we could tell that our wedding was everything we had dreamed of. Rachael was absolutely fabulous to work with and had us all looking stunning for my wedding. Their showroom was very inviting with an incredible vibe and the staff were helpful, without being pushy and let you look at dresses without interruption and were available for help and advice if wanted. They were very good at knowing what dresses would suit certain body types. They also had an extensive range of beautiful dresses from multiple designers and also lots to pick from the sale rack too.

The ladies at beautiful illusions were fabulous and did an amazing job of our ceremony and wedding reception decorations. We went to their showroom to look at colour combinations and decoration options and they were extremely patient and accommodating. Everything looked so beautiful and elegant for our big day. Would highly recommend!
