They took the time to understand my vision with my alterations and then made it happen. When it didn't quite turn out as we had envisioned, they then spent the time to get it right, even getting in extra fabric from the store the dress was purchased from.

After a miscommunication with my previous cake baker that meant I had to find a new cake supplier 6 weeks before the wedding, Takes the Cake listened and responded extremely promptly to my queries and produced something that was even more delectable and beautiful than what my original supplier was able to. Even though the experience was extremely stressful, I think it was the cake universe working with me for my wedding cake. It was delicious and looked great. But most importantly, delicious.

Delwyn listened to our vision of what we wanted for our wedding ceremony, and then compiled it all together quick smart with several drafts of the ceremony to pick and choose what worked for us best. Delwyn was just lovely, and her little attention to details to ensure the venue was just right on the day were greatly appreciated by us and our families, She went above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend Delwyn for her calm demeanour, attention to detail and making the day so special.

Melody is a true professional. After a disastrous trial with my original make-up artist and needing to find a new one with 6 weeks to go before the wedding, Melody responded promptly to my pleas for help, booked in a trial within a week and LISTENED! She listened and sought feedback throughout my trial to create my perfect look. She used quality products, was efficient, kept to time, and had fun with us on the day. I highly recommend Melody for her outstanding work. I don't think myself and my bridesmaids have ever looked more beautiful thanks to Melody.

Jimmy, Shona and their second were a treat to work with. I think we made Jimmy laugh the entire wedding. We chose Jimmy for his rustic shots and easy going nature. We weren't a fan of those 'posed' shots, and Jimmy delivered. The photos arrived in an elegant wooden box (we opted for photos on a USB to do our own albums) and we have been blown away by their skills. My husband is a photographer and he is very impressed. Highly recommend.

Rustic, classy, delectable. Darlington Estate really puts on a show as a wedding venue. You have a beautiful view of the Australian bush in the day, and as the sun sets, the venue is transformed into a magical, intimate setting with thousands and thousands of fairy lights. The food is delectable, the wine delicious and the staff, well they're just great. Michelle, Andy and Andrea answered our countless questions leading up to the day and really put us at ease. Highly recommend this beautiful setting.
