The Langham was an obvious choice being practically across the road from Eureka Tower, where we had our reception. The service at this hotel is wonderful, the rooms lovely and the food at the buffet in the morning aplenty!

My partner and I got engaged in July and married in December 2019. When I went into Raffaele Cicuca with a picture of what I wanted my dress to look like they found My Dress on the first go. With the tight turnaround time I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to get my dream dress but the team made it all possible and I didn’t have to pay extra or buy off the rack. The dress arrived in plenty of time for alterations to be completed. I wanted to wear my mother’s veil, which the team added a new comb to and steam cleaned. It matched my dress perfectly so it was wonderful they could do this for me.

The staff at Black Tie Classics were fantastic. None of the groomsmen could attend at the same time for their fitting, but this was of no issue to the staff. They were able to accommodate everyone’s different work schedules and meet with everyone separately. The suits were conveniently ready on the Thursday (our wedding was on Sunday) so it was great to have something already picked up and ticked off my list before the weekend started.

Chris is an AMAZING photographer. My partner and I hate being in photos and always look awkward. I said as much to Chris during one of our meetings and he took this on board and made not just us but everyone feel relaxed and at ease. This means we have the most fantastic pictures to choose from. He captured all the key moments, including a really touching picture of my dad seeing me for the first time in my dress. Chris really has quite the eye. Can not recommend him enough.

Wes from Triple R was fantastic. He arrived in plenty of time, waited patiently as I was of course, running behind time. We then ended up ahead of schedule, so he took us on a drive through Carlton which was a bit of fun. Getting to our next two destinations (photos and reception venue) was a breeze. The team were really helpful and friendly in helping us pick our car, so much so that we didn’t even need to visit the showroom to make our final choice.

Our driver arrived in plenty of time and got us to each destination promptly. They even sprayed our flowers which were having trouble coping with the heat and looked a little sad. This was something I hadn’t even thought of and was genius! Bridal party had fun going to each venue in the one car and it’s a real easy and efficient way to transport a number of people.

Having the chance to chat with Christos via Skype in the lead up to the wedding was really helpful. This way we had already met him and were able to chat about what kind of a vibe we were going for. We requested 80s and 90s music and he picked music that was appropriate while we were eating and then tons of tunes that saw us dance the night away, including some old Italian hits that got even the oldies on the dance floor. Would highly recommend!

Narelle is very talented! We went in with some pictures of what we wanted the cake to look like and her design matched our request perfectly! The cake, a classic marble(white & chocolate mud cake) tasted amazing too!

Our makeup artist did an amazing job on everyone’s make up. I requested a natural look for everyone and she really did achieve this. I simply showed images of what I was after and Jess was able to match the look I was going for. She arrived on time and started the day early enough to factor the inevitable “can you add more blush, can you do more on my eyes etc” that come from the bridal party. It was very easy to book both a hairdresser and make-up artist through this company.

The team at Eurkea 89 were fantastic. I could not have wanted any more for my wedding day. In the lead up they answered my never ending list of questions, on the day arranged the room and decorations just as I wanted. They really are experts at running events. It was flawless. It was reassuring to have a dedicated team member on hand all night in case anything came up, which of course, it didn’t. All my guests raved about the venue and the team. We even got to take photos out on the Skydeck as we arrived a little early! This was unexpected and we were able to get some amazing pics.
