When my fiancé and I met with Camille and discussed our plans and our vision for our wedding, we knew immediately that Camille was our celebrant. We hit it off from the start, and her charming and warm demeanour got us excited about our wedding to be. Throughout the whole process, Camille guided us through the steps and all the awkwardness of writing our vows, going through the motions of filing for marriage, and rehearsing for the day itself, and her professionalism combined with her zest and passion made the whole process truly fun and delightful. She reassured us when the nerves set in, and she filled us with courage to own the day and make it our own. I can't picture our wedding with a celebrant other than Camille. We were fortunate to be able to debrief the next day, and share with delight in the memories that we had made together. I would recommend her to any to-be wed couple in a heartbeat.

Marriage Celebrants

When my fiancé and I first started scouting for wedding locations, we were overwhelmed by the sheer volume of choices to be made, let alone any of the other arrangements that needed to be organised to pull a wedding together. We sensed that Chapel Hill would be a location worth investigating, after several other wineries in McLaren Vale recommended it to us. We were immediately welcomed by Hope, the events manager, and as we discussed our vision of our perfect wedding, the impossible started to turn into possibility. We were convinced beforehand that our unconventional desires for our ideal wedding were going to be impossible at so many other venues, and it is perhaps with a strike of irony that Hope helped us find the path forward. When we first set eyes upon the Retreat, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. Upon Hope's recommendation for our unique requirements, we worked together throughout the whole process to plan, adjust, and craft the perfect venue for the perfect day. There was no challenge that Hope did not shy away from, and wildly inclement weather did not dampen any of our plans, nor our spirits. When the day finally came, on a cold, wet and windy winter's day, our wedding at Chapel Hill warmed our hearts. We and our guests treasured a truly special day, and everything else fell into place. The catering at the Salopian Inn was universally praised by our guests (and ourselves!) as the best wedding food we'd had the good luck to dine upon. The drinks selection was exemplary, and being able to remain behind after the day was finish and enjoy the fine accommodation allowed my wife and I to spend a quiet and precious evening with close family, and reflect upon the day. My wife and I are so very grateful for all the staff at Chapel Hill to have hosted our special day. We thank Hope for being such an incredible support throughout, and her diligence and attention to detail made the arduous experience of organising a wedding feel effortless and comfortable. We can only hope that in years to come, some of our friends decide to come to their senses and host their wedding at Chapel Hill too!
