My husband and I held out wedding in September 2016 at Barefoot Broken Head. It was the most perfect spot for a intimate wedding. We'd dreamed of a Balinese wedding (without the humidity) since we had gotten engaged and fell in love with this place from the second we walked in. We had our close friends stay with us in the villas at Barefoot and family and friends in the houses close by, which couldn't have been more convenient! The wedding took place on the beach in the morning, with the reception to follow in the Barefoot villa straight afterwards. We spent the entire day celebrating with family and friends and enjoyed every second of it. We booked Barefoot for a week, and had different events happening on the beach and surrounding areas throughout that time, with the wedding towards the end of the celebrations. Barefoot was exceptionally clean, and very accommodating for the little ones we had staying with us as well. Plenty space & didn't feel like we were staying on top of each other. Tim & the team at Barefoot are absolutely awesome and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough for a function, or even just a get away with family and or friends. Byron Bay Weddings were also absolutely outstanding with the coordination of our wedding, still to this day 10 months later, our guests continue to talk about the food and venue and how perfect it was. If you've always dreamed of the perfect Balinese style wedding without the travel or humidity, I highly recommend you give the Barefoot team a call & book a time to see it. These guys came down to Broken Head from the Gold Coast and were absolutely amazing. They set up and played in the garden for a few hours when everybody arrived back at barefoot after the ceremony.

Tara was absolutely amazing!! I highly highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding cake in Byron to contact Tara. She was so lovely and my cake was the most amazing and delicious cake I have ever seen & tasted.

The two girls Rachel & Kristy came down from the Gold Coast to Barefoot to help me & my bridesmaids with our hair and makeup. They were very quick & did a great job, however weren't the bubbliest & chatty stylists.

I purchased the bridesmaids dresses from Bridesmaids Only in Sydney. I cannot recommend Kristina highly enough. She was so incredibly helpful. I struggled to get my bridesmaids to the store as they had children and lived too far away. I went to the store and chose the dresses and Kristina posted them to the girls to try. The communication was outstanding and she was very accommodating to our needs. Absolutely fantastic service.

We had a total of four houses within the Barefoot precinct for a week. All our families stayed in the houses so we were all nice and close, which worked perfectly.
