Ehblin, Kate and the team at The Wool Mill were absolute life savers when we needed to find a bigger venue for our wedding reception to allow for all of our guests to attend under Covid restrictions. We had originally planned to have our wedding out in the countryside, but if we had been looking for an urban venue I would have jumped on this place in a heartbeat from the very beginning! The team were fantastic to deal with from the very first email, supportive and helpful and on the day keeping everything running smoothly (I basically didn't have to worry about a thing venue wise on the day!). The space is absolutely beautiful, light and bright and open, and so many of our guests now have profile pictures from that day because of the beautiful backgrounds!

Highly recommended! We had Justin playing acoustic for the ceremony and then switching to DJ mode for the dance floor and he was absolutely brilliant, beautiful voice and skilled musician and he took song requests for the dance floor. Jordyn the events director helped us organise everything from the first enquiry and was an absolute gem, always promptly responsive and incredibly helpful throughout many Covid restriction changes and potential postponements and alterations to the plan. We ended up splitting our wedding across 2 days to allow for more guests and Jordyn helped us to organise this as soon as we knew it was possible, less than 1 month before the wedding and Justin was fantastic in adapting to this at the last minute too! We are so grateful to both of them for their help and providing music and entertainment that was everything we could have wished for.

Absolutely amazing venue and can't recommend them highly enough! Clare and the team were promptly responsive, supportive and adaptable throughout the planning process even despite all of the stress that came with multiple Covid restriction changes right up until about 2 weeks before the day. The property is absolutely stunning and we got the best photos, and on the day the staff were incredibly helpful, food and wine were delicious and the day ran as smoothly as we could have asked for.

Elisa was everything we could have asked for in a celebrant! She was organised, kind and passionate about her job and made the whole process run really smoothly (even despite planning our wedding during Covid and through constant restriction changes!) She has the most lovely warm personality, was always very promptly responsive to emails, did a great job of the ceremony script and made things run really smoothly on the day. She was prepared for juggling various family member personalities on the day, and had planned all the little details of the ceremony that we never would have considered otherwise but make a big difference on the day. Can highly recommend!
