Katsu was an absolute delight to work with. From our 1st meeting, through the practice photos, and then on the Wedding day he was a polite and understanding guide who endured that we were totally comfortable throughout the entire journey. On the day he and his team of photographers and videographers worked us and the guests with ease; the end result being a wonderful collection of precious photos and videos that are an amazing snapshot of such a special day. The quality of the photos is stunning and impressed both us and all our guests. If you are looking for a top quality visual record of your day, facilitated by a friendly professional then you shouldn’t look further than Katsu!

Wendy did our stunning job with the lovely flowers for our ceremony and reception at Sergeants Mess. Wendy totally delivered on our brief for stylish and elegant arrangements on high table stands which were the perfect way to both create impact and helped fill the space. The theme carried through to the welcome table, ceremony, restroom flowers and flower girls bouquets – all perfect. And the quality of the flowers was top class, we had the flowers delivered home after the reception and still had some remaining 2 weeks after!

Faye did the most stunning job for our wedding cake, it couldn’t have been more perfect! We were looking for something elegant and stylish which is exactly what Faye produced, she was even able to tie in some cymbidium orchids sugar flowers as a nod to a family connection. And the flavours were amazing, we had one served at the reception and then another boxed for guests to take away, and for days afterwards we received calls from guests to let us know how delicious it was. Faye was very easy to deal with and totally delivered on our brief, there could be no better choice for you wedding cake!

Lloyd and Kerrin did an amazing job with the music at our wedding ceremony and were the perfect sound for our day, they totally nailed it for our entry songs and other key music pieces – a few of which were new for them! They were then joined by Dominic as a Trio for our day time reception, and they were the perfect background accompaniment, never too loud but just the right sound for lunch – and uplifting enough afterwards for a bit of dance floor fun! All the guests were very complementary, noting that the sound and song selection were totally on point! Ryan from Paper hearts was super easy to deal with and provided great guidance which ensured that the music on the day was exactly as we expected.

Wedding Music

We held our morning ceremony and lunch reception at Sergeants Mess last weekend. The venue location is perfect, it’s an elegant space with stunning views over the harbour and Eastern Suburbs. The support from the staff leading up to the day (esp. Lily) was amazing, no question or request was a problem and dealings were always prompt and professional. One of the reasons for choosing this venue was that we wanted a restaurant like experience for our guests, and on the day there was no faulting the service we received. A key highlight was the food, which was stunning and received rave reviews from our guests. This is a perfect location for a stylish wedding celebration!

Dave was both celebrant and MC last weekend at our wedding and celebration of our 20th year together, and we couldn’t have found a better match for our celebration! Dave has a such a friendly and personable nature and he guided us throughout all the planning and decisions leading up to the day. He was always available and quick to respond to any questions we had, which was invaluable during the planning. On the day he was calm and reassuring to both us and our flower girls and ensured that everything went smoothly. Dave is the perfect mix of professional and fun and he was perfect for our special day with friends and family. A number of guests commented so positively on Dave and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough!
