Jorgia has become a good friend over the years and been with us on our journey since we first contacted her in 2019, in the lead up to our postponed 2020 wedding, our wedding registration in 2022 and finally, our proper wedding celebration in 2024! From the moment we first spoke, Jorgia’s warmth and kindness was evident and we didn’t even consider any other celebrants after the first call! We exchanged many calls while we lived in the UK (then using Skype!) and since then, over 80+ emails. At short notice, Jorgia was able to officiate our 2022 intimate wedding registration and when we finally returned to Australia for good and begun planning our proper wedding celebration, we were elated to have Jorgia as our celebrant again. Jorgia is the epitome of organised - it felt like we had employed a wedding planner! Throughout our many postponed weddings, she guided and comforted us, always eagerly awaiting for the real celebration. She captured our story perfectly, with humour and heart, and was adored by all of our friends and family. She was a perfect fit to our wedding and we are so grateful that she stuck with us for so many years. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything, Jorgia!

Marriage Celebrants

We’ve been speaking to the staff at Fondata ever since we began wedding planning in 2019 before our wedding was postponed in 2020. Throughout the entire time the Fondata staff have always been friendly, generous and considerate. When we were thankfully able to have our wedding (finally!) at Fondata 1872 in September 2024 it was generously supported by the general manager Jake and expertly organised by the events manager Sam. The day went off without a hitch, the venue was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and it made us beam with pride that we could invite all of our loved ones to experience the best that Fondata had to offer. All of the staff were so attentive and provided a level of service on the night that I’ve only experienced at elite restaurants. Every special request was met with immediate support and a “yes of course we can do that for you!” - such as staff moving our flowers inside for our reception following our ceremony, or setting up our decorations on our behalf. The gushing feedback we received from guests following our wedding speaks volumes in itself. Thank you, we can’t wait to continue dining at Fondata every chance we get!

Thank you so much to Brianna and the team at Thrive for looking after us so well and helping to make our wedding such a special day. They were very accommodating of our requests and the flowers turned out stunning. Their prices were more than reasonable given their sustainable practices, an aspect which was important to us. They were more than happy to create an outdoor arbour and barrel flowers that could be re-purposed as our wedding table and fireplace mantle flowers for our indoor reception. The team were friendly, communication was prompt and clear, and we would highly recommend Thrive to anybody looking for an excellent and talent florist for their wedding!

Jen did my bridal makeup and I couldn't recommend her enough. From the moment I met her I felt at ease and very confident she knew how to treat my type of skin and hair with care. I didn't do a trial and Jen nailed the natural glam look and loose bun that I wanted for the day. For someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup I felt so beautiful but still myself, Jen was patient with her explanations and I had complete trust in her. As someone with eczema, my skin was happy and even through many teary moments, my makeup stayed flawless! I had so many compliments on the night and leading up to the day communication was prompt and constant. I can't thank Jen enough for making our day so special and would highly recommend her to any bride especially Asian brides, those with sensitive skin and/or really thick hair!! Thank you Jen!
