Michele's Bridal & Formal Wear (Shepparton) were fantastic, from the moment you step through the door you become a part of Michele's bride family. She has a passion for everything that she does and she cannot do too much for you. It doesn't stop with the wedding dress, she'll offer assistance with anything you require - we were even talking flower colours and hair styles. She's fantastic. I had a very tight turn around and she managed to not only get the dress in on time but have the alterations made and delivered super quick. Thank you. xo

Greg knows how to run a show, and he knows how to make you feel as though everything is under control. I am a super organised person and he went through things in such detail that I questioned myself if I were organised enough! He took charge of the ceremony right from the get go. He walked us through not only the wedding process but the legal side of things and what to do once we're married (re changing names etc). He wrote the ceremony and the guests loved it. He really made a show of it and had everyone cheering and clapping as the bridal party came down the isle. With his history on TV, our wedding soon became the 'Perfect Match Wedding'.

Yeljka is fantastic. She really knows what she's doing. Sitting with her once to talk through what it is we were after was all that it required. I had a few things I wanted to incorporate into the centrepieces and gave her a bit of an indication, then she ran with it taking the ideas I had and turning them into a reality. I sent her a message only days prior to the wedding wanting to make a change and it was no issue at all. True professional with many years experience.

We went for something basic with our flowers - kept it all white and simple. A consultation was all that was required to portray what it was we wanted and then let Juliet do her thing and pull it all together. They were delivered to our hotel and managed to last the day looking great in all of the photos.

We held our wedding reception at the Bayview Eden, so accommodation here for the next few nights was called for. We didn't want to rush out of the hotel, and enjoyed sticking around the next day and going through all the wedding details. They gave us a beautiful suite to stay in and had a few little perks about the place like bubbly and chocolates. The staff couldn't be more helpful and were a pleasure to deal with.

Mel is awesome - I really enjoyed my trial and that translated to the big day. The wedding morning is an important part of the day and you need to be surrounded by the right people. I had Mel do my make up and Sharah (who now works with Mel regularly) do my hair. These two ladies work really well together and took care of our bridal party like VIPs. They came out to the hotel and made the morning thoroughly enjoyable.

What makes Cam Tapp a great choice is not only the professionalism and quality that he delivered on our wedding day, but the support and encouragement leading up to it. From the get go I could tell Cam was the kind of guy that knew what he was on about. After taking a quick 'google stalk' I seen that the guy had a bit of experience to back it up too! Arranging a wedding from afar I never actually got to meet him in person prior to the ceremony, but when we met him (just after being married!) it was like running into a friend. I do admit to changing my plans a time or two along the way and he just rolled with this and didn't seem to batter an eyelid. I can't wait to get our videos back and listen to some of the beautiful music he played. I'm so honored to have had Cam take part in our wedding day, everyone enjoyed every bit of it and commented how beautiful the ceremony was with him there. Thank you.

Vanessa was brilliant - so much help and made everything super simple and easy. We held our ceremony only at the Zoo as the spaces were so beautiful, and at the price how could you not?! If I had have booked a botanical garden and hired the furniture it would have been about the same - only gardens don't give you the space exclusively, and don't give you someone to manage it. So booking the Zoo was a no brainer really! Not to mention the amount of people who when I said we were getting married at the Zoo who replied "the Zoo? Oh WOW!". My only issue was that as a nervous bride heading toward the ceremony there were a lot of kids around which I may have preferred not to have, but if you're not in a limo your car can drive you straight up to the ceremony site which in hindsite would have been better. That was me though, not the venue. Definitely recommended if you want to do something a little different, but still keep the ceremony sentimental and proper.

We hired the mens suits through Ferrari - Groom, 3 Groomsmen, and a Page Boy. They were great, a few minor issues (main being their smallest size which I was told would be right for the page boy was far too big, which I'd have rathered know beforehand) but the service was fantastic and friendly. I'd have no issue using them again.

These guys were so good that before the day had finished we were already saying how we need to book a night out and just get our new mate Phil (driver) to take us around for the fun of it! Anyone can drive a car, but it takes a special person to make a mark on your day when they are all that way in the front seat. We had a blast in our limo and really enjoyed having Phil as a part of it. He was even taking photos for us on his phone and texting them through for us! (When we were stopped, of course) Looking forward to booking a limo again soon, as soon as I figure out why I need to!

We thought this place looked pretty good for somewhere to go that was low key and relaxed, but it was probably a little too much like that. Being apartments there really isn't too much romance about them. They were nice and everything, but probably more suited to business or family travellers rather than newlyweds. About 1.5ks to the main strip of Torquay, we liked having the walk to get there but others may not.

I'd really like to give myself a pat on the back for hiring these guys - go me! ;-) Serioulsy though, so much fun! Not the cheapest out there, for a reason! Pay the extra, get the quality. There are cheaper booths out there where you will get photos of two, maybe three, people crammed into a booth. There's no fun in that. These booths were fitting full tables or full families into one picture comfortably. Everyone got in there and everyone had fun. They had two attendants so there was always someone making sure that the booth was used properly and that people were looking the right way for their photos, the other making sure they were sticking their pictures in the book and leaving a message. At the end of the night they handed us this massive book full of happy memories which we absolutely poured over the next day, and many times since then. All photos were uploaded to Facebook within the next couple of days and then emailed out in high res on a disk. Thanks Joe - up there with my best decisions for the big day. xo
