We booked a property at Whale Beach for our Moby Dicks wedding through Contemporary Hotels, and it was amazing! Not only a great location and luxury style, but it made for some amazing photos getting ready for the wedding with a view.

Amazing food - our guests raved about how good it was! Menu choices when planning our wedding were large, and they catered for allergies and intolerance options perfectly. Just like all of their venues, Moby Dicks has stunning food - a step above regular 'wedding food'. Highly recommended

The ladies at Perfect Day Bridal really know the stuff, and picked out my perfect wedding dress immediately! Even though I tried on a dozen more in various stores, I came back here to purchase the original one they found for me. They have a large and current range, but the service is very personal and focused. The gown arrived in a quicker time frame than the original estimate, and there was a big range of veils to choose from to match it. The alterations lady who they recommended was also fantastic. I purchased by Brides Desire 'Frankie' gown through Perfect Day Bridal in Sydney, and it arrived in a quicker time frame than expected. It fitted almost perfectly, and was relatively simple to have altered. It didn't have any rips or breakages during the wedding day and still looks perfect after a clean. Highly recommended!

We purchased our groom and groomsmen suits through Myer on special and they were simple to have tailored. Very cost effective and they looked more expensive than they were! Very good quality and the men will definitely wear again.

Amazing and affordable dresses, but despite the price they are great quality! We had so many compliments on our bridesmaids' dresses, and the girls loved that they could each choose a different style to wear their dress on the day - ideal when you have 5 girls of all different shapes and sizes! They were really each to alter as they did not need hemming (just cutting), which will also make it easy for the girls to alter into shorter styles in the future if they want. Super fast delivery and product was exactly as advertised. Highly recommended!

We honestly cannot recommend Moby Dicks (and the Boathouse Group) highly enough! Impeccable styling, amazing staff, beautiful location, flexible wedding packages, and top food & drink! Our guests only had good things to say about our wedding reception, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to others. We honestly cannot recommend these guys highly enough! Beck was absolutely fantastic to work with from start to finish – the organisation and administration side of the planning was efficient and detailed, there was enough flexibility for us to have exactly what we wanted, the playlist was perfect, and we had so many comments from our wedding guests about how great the band were. Tara and the team were such a key part of our wedding day preparation, and it was a pleasure getting ready for the ceremony with them! I’m not a big user of make-up, and only had a rough idea of the hairstyle I wanted, but Tara was able to give me both hair and make-up that was absolutely perfect for what I’d tried to explain. My 5 bridesmaids all had different length hair and roughly chose on the day what styles to have – which the team played with and made each girl look fabulous! Everyone’s make-up was perfect, and we all felt like celebrities for the day. Thank you so much Tara and team for your professionalism, friendliness, laughter and relaxed but efficient approach to what you do – you’re all amazing! Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a hair and make-up supplier.

We cannot recommend Nicola highly enough! She is super-organised, thinks of all the small things you might not have thought of, explains the whole process (ceremony and legal paperwork etc.), is a complete professional, and above all is such a great woman to work with! We didn’t realise to start with how important it is to have a great working relationship with your celebrant and trust them to run the most important part of your wedding day. But now we know that, our ceremony wouldn’t have been the same without Nicola! We would highly recommend Nicola to anyone looking for a celebrant – she will instantly make you feel like your ceremony is under control from the first meeting/email. Thanks so much Nicola, you’re amazing, and you were a huge part of our wedding being such a brilliant day!
