When looking for a wedding venue, we wanted one place for the ceremony, reception, and photos - and Silvestri’s won our hearts. The gardens are stunning and the reception area is so open and beautiful, and we also chose to use the terrace for pre dinner canapés. We had all of our photos taken on the grounds of Silvestri’s because there are so many backdrops for the photos!

We were lucky enough to attend a previous wedding where Ann was the celebrant, and we were able to see her work before our own wedding. We were so impressed by the ceremony she officiated for that wedding and it made us more excited for our own. She spent so much time getting to know us and our story, and she did such an amazing job of portraying this to our guests on our behalf. Our guests raved about our ceremony saying it was a great mix of love, happiness and laughter and we are so grateful of the effort and time Ann put into making our ceremony so beautiful. Ann gave us previous examples of ceremonies she had officiated, which gave us an idea of the type of ceremony we liked!

I fell in love with the photos on Love & Other’s Instagram page and I knew that we had to have them as our photographer! Kyla went above and beyond and we were so happy with the communication before, during and after our wedding. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined and we are so grateful that we had such an amazing and talented photographer. Kyla helped in making the day so perfect, she was so organised and made us feel so relaxed, especially considering my husband doesn’t like having lots of photos taken! Our guests all complimented Kyla in saying that she was so kind, and she was able to capture so many beautiful memories. We were even lucky enough to receive some sneak peak photos the day after our wedding! L&O were one of our best suppliers and we would recommend them to everyone!

I booked 3 bridal stores to shop for a wedding dress, but I found the perfect one at Ferrari so I cancelled my other 2 appointments! They have a great range of wedding dresses available, and a great range for your budget too. I had my 4 bridesmaids (my sister was one), and my mum with me and we had the whole wedding dress section to ourselves! Jenny at Ferrari was so helpful and I would recommend visiting them for your perfect dress

My husband looked online for suit Inspo and found the suit he wanted at Peter Shearer! We decided to hire the suits to better fit in our budget. We visited the Glenelg store with the groomsmen and they all tried on the suits and got their measurements. We had no idea about which tie to pick, so we showed the bridesmaid dress colour swatch to the tailor and he suggested some for us! The process was so easy and quick!

My husband bought my engagement ring from Michael Hill at Colonnades in 2017 and he later told me the manager, Laura, at that store was the most helpful person he had spoken to on his quest to find me the perfect ring. He suggested we go back there to look for our wedding rings. They have a nice selection of wedding bands for both males and females, and we both found the perfect ones. We visited the store a few times and Laura and Caroline were so lovely and helped us with our choices!
