Young love runs smooth in Hannah and James’ classic wedding

You’re never too young to fall in love – just ask Hannah Casey and James Browne.

Hannah, 20, and James, 22, began dating when they were 15 and in 2013 James popped the question while the pair were working with indigenous children in remote Western Australia.

“Getting married at such a young age was quite a shock to some… however, our families were all very supportive,” Hannah says.

The Winmalee, NSW pair walked down the aisle in their red-themed classic wedding on December 6, 2014 at MBM Rooty Hill Anglican Church in front of a sizeable 300 guests.

One hundred and fifty guests enjoyed the reception celebrations at Cropley House in Baulkam Hills.

“The reception was styled with ceiling drapery, fairy lights, rose petals and crystal candles. It was simple and sophisticated,” Hannah says.

The bride did much of the styling herself, even designing and making the elaborate five-tier wedding cake!

Hannah’s gorgeous gown from Luv Bridal and Formal featured a long ruffle train.

Not even the Blue Mountain bush fires could derail the couple’s wedding plans. James’ family lost their home and his wedding suit in the process, “however our family and community rallied together,” Hannah says.
