The outdoor amphitheatre offered a peaceful backdrop overlooking the harbour, shaded by lush trees. “Sergeants’ Mess was absolutely breathtaking the moment we stepped into the outdoor amphitheatre,” Nimet recalls. “As we walked down the stairs and saw the Harbour to have a closer look at the location, we knew it was perfect for us.”

The day’s aesthetic featured a palette of white, navy, and deep red, thoughtfully reflecting the union of Nimet’s Turkish heritage and Josiah’s Australian roots. Bridesmaids selected their own styles in rich red tones representing joy and luck, while the groom and groomsmen wore navy suits from Lupo Bianco Custom Tailored Suits. Nimet wore an elegant gown from Sposa Bride. Floral styling by Flowers and Styling By Felicia grounded the setting with classic ceremony pillars and table centrepieces. “Flowers and Styling By Felicia made my dream wedding flowers come to life better than I could have imagined,” Nimet says. Celebrant Geordie Barham officiated with a ceremony that acknowledged both backgrounds, while live acoustic tracks and reception sets by Baker Boys Band brought incredible energy to the atmosphere. Guests finished the night enjoying a raspberry mille-feuille from Flo Viennoiserie.
