Monkey business: Danielle & Jared’s zoo wedding in Sydney

Danielle Wynd and Jared Wilson both caught a bug at the same time. The travel bug.

The pair met while working at Holiday Inn in Darling Harbour and quickly began trapesing around the world with a shared love of travel. “We have been lucky enough to travel all over the world together including a one year world trip,” says Danielle, 30, of Jared, 35. “We always have fun together and treat life as the adventure it is.”

After eight years together they bought their first home and Jared chose that moment to propose. Danielle had just returned from a trip to America with her mum. “Unprepared for what he had planned I was in my PJs we started looking through the house together. As we got to the last room I opened the door to a table with a beautiful princess cut ring and a rose on it,” smiles Danielle.

Their zoo wedding on March 7, 2015 at Taronga Zoo included 120 guests (and a few animals) and was styled with the theme of romantic elegance. “Friends, family, dancing and a view to die for set amongst the animals and the time of your life sums up our wedding,” describes Danielle.
