Having navigated years of long-distance love between England and Australia, Kaitlyn and Jason tied the knot on 1 October 2025 in a romantic, mystical celebration. The couple chose a Night & Day theme to honour their journey, which began when their relationship existed entirely across opposing time zones. Set against the heritage gardens of the Fitzroy Inn Southern Highlands, the venue offered the exact secret garden charm they had envisioned, complete with lush foliage, hidden pathways, and convenient on-site accommodation for their international guests.

The day unfolded seamlessly, starting with a serene first-touch moment beside the marquee’s green hedges before the couple exchanged personal vows near the weir. A crescent moon backdrop, hand-decorated with moss and fairy lights, served as the focal point for their ceremony.
The couple relied on a talented team of suppliers to bring their vision to life. Nica Photography guided the pair through relaxed portraits, while Capture You Videography documented candid moments throughout the grounds. The festivities continued in the marquee with a shared-style menu from Chef & I, followed by entertainment from Jamie at Vocal Events, who acted as celebrant, MC, DJ, and magician. “One thing that made such a difference was the incredible team of vendors surrounding us. From the moment the day began, every single one of them made us feel supported, cared for and completely at ease,” Kaitlyn shared.
Speaking of their historic Southern Highlands venue, she added, “With its lush gardens, hidden pathways, charming bridges, and enchanting surroundings, it gave us the ‘Secret Garden’ vibes we had been dreaming of and felt like the perfect setting for our wedding day.”
