Yes! I'm relaxed, friendly, and I'm never pushy, loud or intrusive! This is your wedding and I'll just blend in. I do like to have fun and enjoy the day with you, but otherwise you'll hardly know that I'm there.
Definitely!! I meet with couples at as many of their wedding day locations as possible. I like to plan ahead to ensure you get all of those wonderful shot's that you have in mind, while having plenty of time for you to spend with your family and friends. And it also gives the opportunity to get to know one another. Together we'll put together a detailed schedule so that on the day there's no rush and no fuss. All you have to do is relax and enjoy!
Yes absolutely! I'll go anywhere. Travel is free within 200km's of the Southern Highlands.

Is there anything my partner and I can do to practice being less awkward in front of the camera? We are very shy. Or is it purely up to the photographer we pick?

Practice makes perfect! Practice with your photographer ask for an engagement shoot that way it will take the stress off of the initial fear of it. You'll get to know your photographer and start to feel more comfortable with each other. If your photographer is really good they will try to take your mind off of it, direct you, make you move, walk or lean on something like a gate, so that your focus is else where.
Hopefully they would encourage you and even make you laugh!
Perhaps pick a photographer who is gentle, kind, patient and easy going, a friend from the start. Look at their testimony's and see what others say about them. Are they easy to get along with? Perhaps ... someone like me. ??
