Our photographer, Nica, was so much more than someone taking photos on our wedding day, She constantly checked that I was okay, made sure I had everything I needed, and somehow always knew when I needed reassurance without me even saying a word. Whether I needed a drink, a moment to breathe,wanted to speak to someone before the ceremony, explain a shot i wanted and didnt know how to achieve it , she was there. She helped calm my nerves and ease my anxiety while somehow managing to capture some of the most beautiful photographs I've ever seen. Throughout the day she'd occasonally show me and my husband little sneak peeks on the back of her camera, and every single time we were left speechless or in owe . If she had a creative idea, we'd give it a go. If I had an idea, she embraced it wholeheartedly. Nothing ever felt too much trouble. Some of my favourite photographs aren't even the ones we posed for. They're the quiet moments I didn't even know she had captured. The little laughs between my husband and me. The conversations. The dancing. The stolen kisses. The moments where we forgot anyone else was around and simply existed in our own little bubble. Those photographs have become some of the most treasured memories we own. Her creativity, patience and talent are honestly unmatched. Looking back through our gallery feels like reliving the day all over again.
