Not a fan of “lovey-dovey”, Hayley and Arash went for “fun and quirky”.
The couple, who married at their Red Scooter wedding on February 10, 2017, said guests still comment today how multicultural their celebration was. “We didn’t want a lovey-dovey ceremony, instead we wanted to make it fun and something that not only we, but other people would remember,” explains Hayley.
Their ceremony and reception with 120 guests at Red Scooter in Victoria had plenty to never forget. “We entered the reception to a Harry Potter remix, as Arash had proposed during the movie,” says the bride. “We also had a Persian knife dance complemented by our Krispy Kreme wedding cake! I couldn't have asked for a better day, two cultures coming together.”
Hayley says she fell in love with Arash for the things he didn’t even realise he was doing: “Like dictating the bumps in the road while I put mascara on in the car,” she laughs. And Arash fell for her drive. “He loves how passionate and hardworking I am.”
Of their day the bride says, "We were surrounded by loved ones, we ate, drank, danced and, at the end, we walked away with someone to annoy for the rest of our lives. Life would be boring without him!"

Hayley's gorgeous ruby engagement ring with matching wedding band [below] was from Temelli Jewellery.
Hayley took inspiration from Marie Antoinette for her bride style - ruffled wedding gown, Juliet cap veil and ringlets in her hair.
When Hayley first met Arash at a soccer tournament she was new to Facebook. "I saw no harm in commenting that 'I thought number 17 was HOT', none the wiser that Arash and everyone else would receive notification of my thoughts!"
Arash and his crew wore classic black tuxes with coral coloured bow ties to coordinate with Hayley's bridesmaids.
Exotic Limo, with 27 years experience in the wedding industry, transported the couple on their day.
The newlyweds jetted to Greece, Coatia and Malta for their honeymoon.
