Bride takes the reins for Jessica and Vlad’s romantic classic wedding

Starting as friends, Jessica and Vlad soon realised that 'it was a little more than that' and took their relationship to the next level.

Five years later, Vlad got on one knee and popped the question in Copenhagen while holidaying in Europe.

"(Un)romantically, Vlad proposed in the Airbnb! laughs the bride. "But the meal following the proposal was really special.

"There was no specific theme for our wedding per se but we wanted a clean, simple aesthetic with white, soft greys and gold. The flowers were generally darker like dark red and burgundy," Jessica explains of the October 25, 2019 celebrations.

One of the biggest priorities for Jessica when planning the wedding was making sure nothing was visually out of place.

"It was a simple and love-filled day and we even managed to pay respect to three different cultures - Australian, Serbian and Chinese."

Creations by Kassy made sure Jessica looked every bit the blushing bride.

Perth's sought after wedding venue The Quarry Amphitheatre is renowned for its stunning beach and bushland locations that provide different wedding photo aesthetics.

"The wedding wouldn't have been the same without our photographers Objektive Photography and other suppliers who all went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect," praises Jessica.

Lala Design created gorgeous wedding stationery that complemented the theme.

Jessica and Vlad spent their first night as newlyweds at Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough.

Les Trois Amies kept the guests on the dance floor well into the night.
