Starting as friends, Jessica and Vlad soon realised that ‘it was a little more than that’ and took their relationship to the next level.

Five years later, Vlad got on one knee and popped the question in Copenhagen while holidaying in Europe.

“(Un)romantically, Vlad proposed in the Airbnb! laughs the bride. “But the meal following the proposal was really special.

“There was no specific theme for our wedding per se but we wanted a clean, simple aesthetic with white, soft greys and gold. The flowers were generally darker like dark red and burgundy,” Jessica explains of the October 25, 2019 celebrations.

One of the biggest priorities for Jessica when planning the wedding was making sure nothing was visually out of place.

“It was a simple and love-filled day and we even managed to pay respect to three different cultures – Australian, Serbian and Chinese.”
