Former child actress Mary-Kate Olsen, 29, has married her French banker fiance Olivier Sarkozy, 46, in a intimate ceremony in Manhattan.

The ceremony took place at a private Manhattan residence, and according to Entertainment Weekly, guests were asked to turn off their mobile phones upon arrival.
The wedding celebrations included an intimate dinner followed by cocktails in the rear garden of the residence and a plethora of cigarettes at the ready for avid smokers present. According to sources, “bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night.”
Sarkozy, who is half-brother to former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, was previously married to fashion journalist, Charlotte Bernard, and, together, they have two young children.
This is Mary-Kate’s first marriage.

The sisters, who rose to fame playing Michelle Tanner in the hit ’80s sitcom Full House, are estimated to be worth $300 million, largely due to their expansive fashion empire.[ew-supplier-carousel]
Full House co-star, John Stamos, has taken to social media to congratulate Mary-Kate on her wedding to Olivier, posting a sweet image of a very young Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on his Instagram page. Stamos captioned the picture, “In the blink of an eye.” Congrats MK. X”

Image: John Stamos via InstagramMary-Kate and Ashley are known for their avant garde fashion sense and, though we don’t yet know what gown the bride wore, we do know that the fraternal twins designed their first wedding dress for a friend back in 2014, and the gown was an elaborate lace affair with bohemian sleeves, and a cathedral length veil.
