Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria has married her fiance of six-months Jose Antonio Baston in a sunset garden ceremony held at the couple’s property in Mexico.
Eva, 41, and Jose 47, exchanged vows in an English and Spanish wedding ceremony, in front of a large white cross adorned with roses and lights.
The intimate gathering of 80 guests was held at groom Jose’s property in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, and the celebrations included live performances and a stunning fireworks display. Eva told celebrity magazine Hola! USA, “I’ve been waiting for a day like this my whole life.”
The brunette actress wore an elegant and simple ivory coloured sheath wedding dress which was designed by bestie and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham. For the wedding ceremony Eva added a diamond necklace to complete her bridal look, and she swept her chocolate locks behind one ear.
For the following celebrations Eva accessorized her gown with a new set of jewellery, which included a contemporary pearl necklace, drop earrings and bracelet.
Groom Jose, who is President of Content at the world’s largest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate, wore a sophisticated grey three-piece suit by Italian fashion designer Brunello Cicinelli.
Celebrities in attendance included Eva’s good friend Victoria Beckham and her husband David, Latin-American signer Ricky Martin and his partner Jwan Yosef, actor Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney, as well as actresses Melanie Griffith and Vanessa Williams.
Eva and Jose became engaged last year in a romantic Arabian desert style proposal in Dubai after dating for two years. This will be Eva’s third marriage and Jose’s second.
